PRINCE Harry will return to the UK for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games Foundation in just a few days – but Meghan is not expected to be by his side.
An Invictus Games spokesperson confirmed that the Duke will arrive at the Thanksgiving Service at St Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday 8 May.
The star-studded event marks a decade since the inaugural Invictus Games London in 2014.
Harry, 39, will celebrate the impact that sport can have on people’s lives and will honor the occasion with a special reading.
It will be the first time he has been in Britain since Princess Kate announced she was receiving cancer treatment on March 22.
However, the presence of wife Meghan has not yet been confirmed, alongside her children Archie and Lilibet.
Archie’s birthday comes just two days early and will mark the same day as King Charles’ first coronation anniversary, May 6.
Meg, 42, joined Harry at his games in Toronto, Sydney, The Hague and Dusseldorf – and at Vancouver’s one-year launch party.
However, she has not been seen in the UK since attending Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022.
She declined an invitation to the King’s Coronation as it coincided with Archie’s fourth birthday.
INVICTUS GAMES
Meanwhile, acting legend Damian Lewis is expected to recite the poem Invictus during the service.
Harry previously said he would like the star to play him in a film about his life.
William Henley, the author of the sentimental poem, has a memorial bust in the Crypt of St Paul’s Cathedral.
Representatives from all nations participating in the Invictus Games will be present at the exciting service.
They include wounded, injured and ill service personnel and members of the veteran community, an Invictus Games spokesperson confirmed.
They will also give readings throughout the service, led by the Very Reverend Andrew Tremlett, Dean of St Paul’s.
Senior members of the Royal Family – who attended the first editions of Harry’s biannual event – are not expected to attend.
It is not known where the Duke will be staying during his visit, but he is homeless in the UK after being evicted last summer from Frogmore Cottage.
FAMILY MEETING
It turns out that several royal experts are speculating about the possibility of a reunion between Harry, the king and Prince William.
The Invictus Games service runs from 5pm to 6:30pm, which clashes with Buckingham Palace’s First Garden, which runs between 3pm and 6pm.
I think Harry and his father are trying to reconcile

With King Charles announcing that he is fit and well enough to return to public duties, the lavish outdoor party could be on the cards.
Prince William, 41, could also appear at the first of two palace garden parties, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Anne are also possible special guests.
The Princess of Wales, 42, who is undergoing cancer treatment, is not expected to attend.
Although some royal experts say Her Majesty is open to reconciliation – it can be more difficult work with wills.
I think with William it will be a much longer process

Others suggested a turbulent time for the family amid health battles could see fractured relationships rebuild.
Esteemed royal reporter Richard Palmer spoke on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive program and said: “I think Harry and his father are trying to reconcile,” said Butler.
“I think with William it will be a much longer process.
“But eventually, perhaps, you know that many families have disputes and in time they can heal their divisions, but there is still a lot of work to be done with William.”
There is no doubt that Harry wants to convey that he is a very dedicated family man and will put them above all else.
Richard Fitzwilliams
Meanwhile, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams revealed that while a possible reunion could happen soon, the future king has “already been through enough”.
And the royal commentator has already dubbed Meghan an obstacle in the way of resolving “one of the worst public royal disagreements ever”.
He stated: “Meghan has her say. There is no doubt that Harry wants to convey that he is a very dedicated family man and will put them above all else. Just like William.”
Prince Harry and William’s ‘rivalry’: brothers ‘at war’

In 2018, the Sun told how “simmering tension
The first signs of friction emerged after William was introduced to Meghan when she was staying at Kensington Palace.
Once she returned home to Canada, William and Harry sat down for a sibling chat.
He knew Harry was already crazy about her, but it was claimed he advised him to take it slow.
The younger prince reportedly didn’t take the advice very well, with a royal source saying he “went crazy.”
Then, in June 2019, Harry and Meghan officially split from the charity they shared with William and Kate.
The Royal Foundation will be split between the Sussexes and the Cambridges, while the couples focus on their own separate charitable efforts.
Prince William and Prince Harry first established the Royal Foundation in 2009, before Kate joined two years later, shortly after their engagement was announced.
The trio often appeared together at events and the Foundation has had huge success with projects such as the Invictus Games for injured veterans and the Heads Together mental health campaign.
The Royal Foundation said the decision was made after completing a review of its structure – but added that the two couples would continue to work together in the future.
Harry and Meg lived near Kate and Wills on the Kensington Palace estate, but moved to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor before baby Archie was born.
The move further fueled rumors of a fallout.
Harry, 39, also hinted in his ITV documentary “Harry and Meghan, An African Journey” that he and his brother had grown apart.
It came after Prince Philip called Meghan “DOW”, after the Duchess of Windsor – the American divorcee who led Edward VIII to abdicate.
And he warned the late queen to be “cautious” with Harry’s then-fiancée, claims a royal author.
Ingrid Seward revealed in her new book My Mother And I that Prince Philip felt it was “strange… how much Meghan reminded him of the Duchess of Windsor”.
In 2021, Harry and Meghan gave a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey where Harry accused his father of holding him back financially.
Harry then flew back to the UK to join William at the unveiling of a statue of his mother, Princess Diana, at Kensington Palace. But sources said William did not want to attend the memorial amid the fallout.
In 2022, shortly before the death of her grandmother, the Queen, sources claimed that Kate acts as a “peacemaker” between the siblings.
Last year, Harry claimed his brother “knocked him to the floor” during an argument about Meghan.
In his book Spare, Harry said William called Meghan “rude” and “difficult” during a fight.
Harry claimed that William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and…knocked me to the ground.”
He said he was left with a visible injury to his back after the 2019 argument at Nottingham Cottage, in the grounds of Kensington Palace, where he lived at the time.
In January this year, Harry flew to be with Charles following the shock of the monarch’s cancer diagnosis.
Harry flew back to the US the next day – without seeing Wills.
