KING Charles’ second snub of Prince Harry was deliberately timed after years of relentless attacks, a royal expert has said.

The monarch yesterday ruled out a face-to-face meeting with the duke while he is in the UK, saying he was too busy.

Hours later, in another snub, the king revealed that eldest son William would take command of Harry’s former helicopter regiment next week.

The Monarch said that on Monday he will be at a confirmation ceremony for the 41-year-old man as Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps.

The event will take place in front of an Apache – the type of helicopter Harry flew when he served in Afghanistan.

And royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams says this was no accident – and the king planned it after his son dropped bombs on him for years.

Richard told The Sun: “This timing is deliberate. It is to send a deliberate message to Harry that the Royal Family has not forgotten what has happened over the last four years.”

The expert said it dates back to when Prince Philip was in hospital – and the Sussexes’ explosive interview with Oprah was broadcast to the world.

Richard continued: “Prince Philip was King Charles’ father – he hasn’t forgotten that.

“This is just a very, very significant episode because Oprah did enormous damage to the Royal Family and the Sussexes, as I said, knew exactly what they were doing.”

The expert said the king’s decision to announce his plan with Wills just hours after snubbing Harry was an extra dig.

Richard continued: “The facts are that he has an important connection with the regiment, and the facts are also that there will be a ceremony next Monday where the king and the royals do nothing by accident.

Charles “could have found time” to see Harry but “didn’t want to” – the anger is still there, says Sun Royal Photographer

“There is no doubt that it was meant to be a message to Harry. It was timed for now, deliberately.

“This rift is deep and very, very public right now.”

The expert said that from now on, Harry should keep his plans – and meetings with the king – private, rather than announcing them to the world – as he did on Good Morning America.

Richard continued: “I don’t think the king wanted Harry to go on television and talk, even in general terms, about family unity.

“This wasn’t just a private meeting, but if Harry had kept it completely private and made no comments, I think that would have been preferable.”

This moment is deliberate. It is to send a deliberate message to Harry that the Royal Family has not forgotten what has happened over the last four years.

It turns out that The Sun’s royal photographer revealed that he believed there was a way for Harry to secure a meeting with his father on his next visit to the UK.

Arthur Edwards also stated that the king could have found the time – but he didn’t want to.

The Duke of Sussex arrived from California yesterday for a service marking the 10th anniversary of his Invictus Games at St Paul’s Cathedral.

Arthur told The Sun: “It is a great triumph that the king is back at work now and back at the grindstone.

“Obviously his time is full and there are a lot of things to catch up on.

“But I’m sure if he wanted to he could have found time to see Harry, but he obviously doesn’t want to and Harry seems to have accepted it.”

Harry and Meghan’s betrayals

Interview with Oprah

Harry and Meghan’s explosive conversation with Oprah Winfrey saw them make a series of bombshell revelations.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed that no topic was “off limits” during their explosive chat in March 2021.

The interview generated a series of jaw-dropping comments, racking up more than 6,000 complaints from British viewers and even prompting a response from the Queen.

This included the claim that two royals allegedly questioned the color of Prince Archie’s skin tone.

Meghan left jaws dropping after addressing her and Kate’s bridesmaid dress fight after telling Oprah that Kate made her cry before her wedding.

Meg told Oprah that it was difficult to see a “that didn’t happen narrative” emerge after it was reported that she left Kate crying over her demands for Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress.

Instead, she told chat show Queen: “The reverse happened.”

There was more to come in Harry’s book as he recalled an alleged fight with his brother William that ended with him falling into a dog bowl.

He also revealed how William disapproved of Harry’s marriage to Meghan and once called her “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”.

Harry’s father, King Charles, was also in the firing line of criticism. Harry criticized his father for not embracing him after the death of his mother, Diana, the late Princess of Wales, and claimed the king often made “bad taste” jokes about his parenting.

Kate, who Harry once hailed as the ‘sister I never had’, and stepmother Camilla were also not spared from the attack.

The Princess of Wales was accused of being cold towards her sister-in-law Meghan and claimed she was “disgusted” when Meghan asked to use her lip gloss.

He also partly blamed Kate and William for their decision to wear the controversial Nazi uniform to a costume party in 2005, claiming they both “howled” when they saw it.

Netflix Program

Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docu-series dropped bombs on The Firm – seeing it destroyed by royal experts.

To the shock of many, it told stories of Meghan’s “shocking” first meeting with Princess Kate and Harry criticizing his father.

But despite the attention it attracted, it didn’t even rank among Netflix’s 200 most-watched shows from January to June last year.

The document was torn apart for giving examples of “truths” that did not seem to correspond to reality.

While the privacy-loving couple complained about their struggles in the final installment of their Netflix docu-series, they glossed over some important details.

Additionally, in an apparent dig at his father King Charles’ parenting, Harry claimed he was “raised” by friends in Africa.
