PRINCE Harry’s “complaints” seem “utterly trivial and pathetic” when placed in the context of Kate Middleton’s illness, claims a former BBC royal correspondent.

The Duke of Sussex has been criticized for criticizing the royal family in recent years, especially with his bombshell memoir Spare and his Netflix show, Harry and Meghan.

Royal expert Jennie Bond claims that the relationship between Prince Harry and Prince William are now “terminally damaged.”

She said OK!: “As far as William is concerned, this appears to be a terminally damaged relationship. In some ways, it feels like the boot is now on the other side.

“Previously, Harry was the ‘victim’ looking for an apology for all his grievances.

“Now, these complaints must seem utterly trivial, even to Harry, in the face of a very real problem: cancer. Catherine and William are involved in a frightening fight and I don’t think they have the will or strength to confront someone, even a brother, who has started a fight over issues that seem pathetic in comparison.

“William is doing everything he can to protect his wife and I highly doubt they want to deal with the ‘Harry problem’ now, or ever.”

Both Kate and Charles underwent surgery earlier this year and were later diagnosed with cancer.

Prince Harry went on a three-day trip to the UK this week, arriving on Tuesday and leaving on Thursday evening, but did not see his family during the visit.

A spokesperson for Harry explained: “Unfortunately this will not be possible due to Her Majesty’s full programme.

“The Duke, of course, understands his father’s schedule and various other priorities and looks forward to seeing him soon.”

Harry and Charles last met at Clarence House in February for their first face-to-face meeting in 16 months.

Charles, 75, resumed public duties last week for the first time since beginning cancer treatment.

He is now expected to attend Buckingham Palace’s first garden party of the year.

Last night, the Duke of Sussex, 39, left Britain last night as he and Meghan Markle headed to Nigeria.

The couple is currently spending three days in the West African country and will take part in “cultural activities”.

Before boarding his flight out of the UK, Harry spoke about what it’s like to be home, as he was the surprise guest at a party thrown by the charity Scotty’s Little Soldiers – which supports the grieving children of military personnel.

He told the BBC: “It’s great.”

He and Meghan are said to have reunited at Heathrow after the Duke was photographed there last night.

Harry was seen entering the Windsor Suite in the early evening and reportedly met his wife inside.

A spokesperson for Harry explained: “Unfortunately this will not be possible due to Her Majesty’s full programme.

“The Duke, of course, understands his father’s schedule and various other priorities and looks forward to seeing him soon.”

Just hours earlier, his father King Charles was photographed beaming in Surrey as Prince William visited a site where homes are being built for the homeless.

The couple reportedly boarded a British Airways flight to Abuja – and were seen walking on the tarmac.

This morning they began their 72-hour ‘fake real tour’ of Nigeria by visiting a school supported by the Archewell Foundation.

Harry and Meghan, who is of Nigerian descent, will meet military personnel and their families and take part in traditional cultural activities, according to local media.

It is the couple’s first trip to Nigeria as a couple.

They are expected to visit three cities while there in their efforts to get the country to host the Invictus Games in 2029.

Harry has had a long relationship with Africa, even taking his now-wife Meghan to Botswana for a camping trip as one of their first dates.
