Harry and Meghan then presented prizes to the young participants.

They also participated in a basketball event with the Giants of Africa Foundation, helping young people get involved in the sport.

Harry was on a three-day trip to the African country to promote his Invictus Games for injured veterans.

He arrived with his wife in the capital Abuja on Friday, where they attended a school event highlighting mental health.

The prince also met injured Nigerian soldiers in the northwest of the country.

Meanwhile, former MP Rory Stewart’s Politics On The Edge beat the Duke of Sussex and Britney Spears’ memoirs to win the non-fiction category at the British Book Awards.

Former MP Stewart won the non-fiction award: narrative book of the year for his inside account of the UK Parliament, beating Prince Harry’s Spare and Spears’ The Woman In Me.
