PRINCESS Lilibet is turning three this week – and is already in line for more riches than the average person can dream of.
Meghan Markle’s daughter and Prince Harry is set to receive a whopping £980,000 worth of jewels from the Duchess of Sussex over the next few years.
Glamorous Meghan, 42, has an enviable designer collection clocks and family heirloom jewelry that should be given to the young princess.
Around £650,000 worth of items came from Princess Diana’s precious collection, while others were purchased by the Suits star.
Meanwhile, Meghan’s jewelry also includes sparkling wedding day jewelry and lavish gifts from Prince Harry.
Here’s how young royal Lilibet could be in line to receive around £1 million worth of jewels…
Diana’s Cartier Tank Française watch – worth £500,000
Meghan was spotted wearing one of Diana’s signature pieces, her Cartier watch, and it would command a high price if it were sold.
James Constantinou, founder of Prestige Pawnbrokers, said: “Diana’s small Tank Francaise Cartier in 18-carat yellow gold, with matching bracelet, is a classic and timeless watch as well as a functional piece of jewelry.
“Diana also had a round Tank Louis, but she stopped wearing them in the early 80s.”
The watch was a gift from Princess Diana’s father on her 21st birthday and is believed to have been purchased for £17,800 at the time.
But James revealed that her value has skyrocketed, as she said: “A connection to an admired and well-known public figure usually brings a premium in terms of values.
“There is currently a lot of interest around Diana and this, coupled with the drop in the usual commodities, will bring experienced investors into the auction rooms, which will inevitably drive the price up.
“I would estimate the watch to be worth over £500,000.”
Cartier bracelet – worth £150,000
When Meghan and Harry tied the knot at their fairytale royal wedding in 2018, the Duchess of Sussex was seen wearing a breathtaking Cartier bracelet.
The bracelet was custom made for Meghan and is part of the Reflection collection.
Featuring a stunning 104 brilliant-cut diamonds and 52 baguette-cut diamonds, it truly is a standout.
Leading diamond expert Maxwell Stone said: “Worn by Meghan on her wedding day, this would be a poignant piece for Lilibet to inherit and one she could pair with her own wedding dress on future.”
Meghan’s wedding rings – worth £130,000
Lilibet could be lucky enough to receive Meghan’s breathtaking wedding rings later in life.
Her engagement ring, designed by Prince Harry, is set with three diamonds selected from Princess Diana’s collection.
It was made by British jewelers Cleave and Company and the central diamond is from Botswana and is estimated to be worth £120,000.
Meghan’s wedding band is a simple band made from Welsh yellow gold, also made by Cleave and Company – the royal’s official jewelers.
Prince Harry broke tradition by also wearing a wedding ring, as male members of the royal family don’t usually do – a platinum band with a textured finish.
Cartier earrings – worth £11,000
Another piece of jewelry we saw Meghan wear on her wedding day was a pair of Cartier earrings.
The studs are from the Galanterie collection and are made in 18k white gold, set with brilliant-cut diamonds.
They are estimated to be worth £11,000, although this may have increased due to the royal bond.
The Asprey Aquamarine ring – worth £85,000
Lilibet could also end up with Meghan’s ‘Asprey Aquamarine ring’, which belonged to Princess Diana.
The ring is said to be worth between £75,000 and £85,000 and was given to Meghan as a gift from Prince Harry.
We may have only seen Princess Diana wear the ring twice, but it was also a highlight of Meghan’s wedding.
Who inherited Princess Diana’s jewelry?

AFTER her death, Diana’s sons Prince William and Prince Harry were left with three-quarters of her £21 million estate – with the other quarter going to her 17 godchildren.
In a special “letter of wishes,” Diana explained that she was leaving her jewelry to her sons’ future wives.
The letter says: “I would like you to allocate all my jewelry to the portion that will remain with my children, so that their wives can, in due time, have or wear them.
“I leave the exact division of jewelry to your discretion.”
Some of Diana’s most iconic jewels were on loan from the royal collection, while others were not included in her estate.
Alexandra Michell, gemologist at Prestigious pawnbrokers of Channel 4’s Posh Pawn explained that this stunning piece was a “replacement engagement ring” following Princess Diana’s divorce from Charles.
The Duchess of Sussex was seen wearing the blue jewel at her wedding reception.
When Princess Diana passed away in 1997, her priceless jewels were left to Prince William and Prince Harry, who divided the jewels to give to their future wives.
Gold bracelet – worth £25,000
Another item of Princess Diana’s jewelry that Lilibet may own in the future is a £25,000 gold bracelet.
Meghan was seen wearing the stunning piece at the NAACP Image Awards in California, and she previously wore it on her Australian tour with Prince Harry in 2018.
Butterfly nails – worth £50,000
Lilibet may also receive butterfly earrings which Meghan has been seen wearing on several occasions.
Although the earrings may be small, they are expensive, with James estimating they would cost around £50,000.
He said: “The beautiful yellow gold butterfly earrings, encrusted with diamonds and sapphires, belonged to a set that also included a necklace.
“Unfortunately, we do not know where they were acquired from, but they made their first appearance in the mid-1980s when Diana was on tour. Canada.”
Engraved Cartier watch – worth £4,800
Before Lilibet was even born, Meghan had a sweet gift planned for her daughter and the story behind it is so sweet.
In 2015, Meghan said she hopes to one day pass her £4,800 Cartier watch to her daughter.
Meghan bought the expensive Cartier Tank Française after learning Suits – the television show she starred in — has been ordered for a third season.
The Duchess previously said Hello: “When I found out that Suits had been picked up for our third season — which, at the time, felt like a milestone — I totally splurged and bought the two-tone version [of the watch].”
She continued: “I had it engraved on my back, ‘To MM From MM’
“And I plan to give it to my daughter one day. That’s what makes the pieces special, the connection you have with them.”
Cartier Juste un Clou necklace in yellow gold – worth £24,500
We’ve already seen Meghan wearing a yellow gold version of the brand’s nail-shaped Juste un Clou necklace, accented with diamonds.
It is one of the brand’s most daring pieces, the Juste un Clou – translated as “just one nail” was designed by Aldo Cipullo in the 1970s in New York.
According to Cartier, it “reflects the bold spirit of the time” and is worn by those who wish to make an original, independent, fearless and free statement.
As for how much it cost, it would have cost Meghan a whopping £24.5k ($30,100).
