PRINCESS Lilibet turns three today and will likely be celebrating in California, surrounded by family and celebrities.
The Sun spoke exclusively to royal commentator Ingrid Seward about how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could celebrate their youngest son’s birthday.
Ingrid shared: “I think she [Lilibet] They probably live a pretty extravagant life because they live in one of the most expensive areas in California, they’re surrounded by movie stars and celebrities, and people who have a lot of money. money and can afford to live an extravagant lifestyle.
“I’m not saying they would be ostentatious, but I think they would be quietly very extravagant.”
A-List Party
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex kicked off their daughter’s pre-birthday celebrations on Sunday by hosting a party at their £12 million Montecito home with close friends and family, according to Page six.
But they could celebrate outside the house too.
The royal expert shared, “I think they would probably host a party outside and probably get a whole group of kids together and take them somewhere, so it would be a little different.
“Of course they have a lot of high-profile celebrity friends with young children.
“So it would be, I’m sure it’s quite competitive about who could throw the most glamorous and extravagant party, but I think Harry and Megan will probably downplay it a little bit.
“I’m sure they would organize some kind of themed party, but I don’t think it would necessarily be at their house.
“They would take them somewhere, maybe to a play center or private rec center and because you know, kids that age love to play and roll around and just have fun.”
Celebrity friends who live “down the street” include Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry and their daughter Daisy.
Harry revealed that Orlando tipped him off about a photographer and that they keep in touch via text, making it easier for them to arrange a play date at the future.
Grandma at games
Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, will likely play a prominent role in the party, according to the royal expert.
She shared about the former yoga instructor, “Doria will be involved because she is also the only grandmother they know.
“She is quite active, so she will probably be involved in organizing the games or at least directing whoever is organizing them.”
Plastic-free gifts
Ingrid, who is editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, shared how Meghan and Harry “don’t like anything plastic”.
She said: “There is a big movement among young parents – no plastic.
“We know Meghan and Harry don’t approve of plastic gifts, but the kids love them.
“They love the brightest, the brightest, the best, but I don’t think we’ll see Princess Lilibet getting into one of those plastic cars or things like that.
“I don’t know what she will be allowed, but I’m sure they are very demanding.”
Billionaire Godfather
Lillibet has a world-famous filmmaker as her godfather, Tyler Perry, so she could be spoiled by the star.
Madea actor Tyler, worth $1 billion, approached Harry and Meghan after contacting the duchess following News of her estrangement from her father Thomas Markle.
In his self-titled Netflix documentary series, Tyler recalled when the couple asked him to be Lilibet’s godfather.
He said, “I had to take a minute to take it inside. And I thought, ‘I would be honored. I would be absolutely honored.”
Meghan’s cake
Lilibet will likely receive a tasty cake from her parents on her third birthday, the expert said.
Ingrid shared: “I’m sure Meghan will have made a gluten-free cake as that’s what she loves to do.”
Delivery of King Charles
When your grandfather is king, you’re likely to receive a pretty exciting gift.
Ingrid added: “Charles and Camilla will certainly send or have sent gifts.
“Camilla will have organized everything because she has grandchildren, although older, and she loves young children and their likes and dislikes.
“As for Meghan – she and Harry will give a joint gift as she is only three – possibly a small animal like a rabbit and the current non-plastic toy or doll that she might particularly want.”
Inside Princess Lilibet’s £980k jewelery collection
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s daughter is set to receive a staggering £980,000 worth of jewelry from the Duchess of Sussex over the next few years.
Glamorous Meghan, 42, has an enviable collection of designer watches and heirloom jewels that are set to be given to the young princess.

Meanwhile, Meghan’s jewelry also includes sparkling wedding day jewelry and lavish gifts from Prince Harry.
We share the collection worth almost £1 million that Lilibet could receive.
No key family
Although they are likely to send a gift, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s daughter Lilibet has barely met her family in the UK, including her grandfather.
Royal author Phil Dampier said the anniversary celebrations are marked by an “underlying sadness” due to the “schism” dividing the family.
Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive, he shared: “It’s amazing that she’s already three, but there’s an underlying sadness, of course, because of the disagreement that the King isn’t seeing his grandchildren.
“I think he’s only met Lilibet possibly once and Archie only a few times and they’re seventh and eighth in line to the throne, growing up in California on the west coast of America, with American accents and you just don’t see them. . ”
Phil added that it’s also “very sad” for Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, who has reportedly never met his grandchildren or even son-in-law. Prince Torment.
Former lighting director Thomas and Meghan’s relationship soured in the run-up to their wedding at Windsor Castle in 2018 when he admitted to agreeing to stage photos of himself.
Meghan told Oprah Winfrey that her outspoken father lied to her about speaking to the British press — a “betrayal” she simply cannot “reconcile.”
