MEGHAN Markle’s father has claimed Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are being “denied” a relationship with their cousins.
Thomas Markle, who is estranged from the Duchess of Sussex, said that one day his grandchildren will realize “all the things they missed”.

Thomas said their absence was particularly felt at the recent Trooping the Color ceremony, where Prince William’s children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, stood proudly with their family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Meghan’s father said the image sparked feelings of “pity” in Thomas for his own grandchildren, according to Express.
Speaking to New Zealand Woman’s Weekly, he shared: “I was really sad that Meghan and tormentThe children of St. Louis are being denied the right to meet their cousins, who seem like fantastic kids, or to participate in activities like Trooping the Color, which is their birthright.
“They are getting to the age where they will start asking questions, like all children do.
“I wonder how Archie and Lilbet will feel years from now when they realize all the things they lost.”
According to the Mirror, Thomas wants to meet his grandchildren for the first time as he approaches his 80th birthday and finds it difficult to understand why he hasn’t even met Prince Harry yet.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex currently live in a £12 million mansion in Monteico, California, which is around 400km from where Thomas lives in Rosarito, Mexico.
Thomas claims he fears he will die before he even gets a chance to see them.
He added that even a photograph of his grandchildren would bring him joy, according to New Zealand Woman’s Weekly.
The former lighting director also joked that he never thought he would have anything in common with King Charles, who also barely knew his Sussex grandchildren.

Royal author Tom Quinn stated: “He [King Charles] is desperate to see them and hates the idea that Archie and Lilibet won’t remember him as the warm, friendly grandfather he wants to be.”
Meghan and Thomas fell out after he posed for paparazzi photos before Harry and Meghan’s wedding, and King Charles ended up walking Meghan down the aisle.
Meghan’s father has been estranged from his daughter since he suffered two heart attacks on the eve of her wedding to Harry.
Thomas admits the photos were a mistake and says he has repeatedly apologized for them.

In her candid interview with Oprah, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about her relationship with her father and said she was devastated when he lied to her before their wedding.
Meghan said she tried to “protect” her parents from the “media frenzy” triggered due to an “obsession with anything in my world”.
It was the first time Meghan had spoken publicly about her father, whom she had not spoken to since before her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018.
Thomas, a former Hollywood lighting director, has spoken publicly about his daughter’s relationship and described their decision to step back from royalty as embarrassing.
Their relationship soured before their wedding at Windsor Castle in 2018, when he admitted to agreeing to staged photos of himself.
Meghan was asked if it felt like a “betrayal” when she discovered her father was working in the press, and replied: “I’m trying to decide if I feel comfortable talking about it.
“It was… if we were to use the word betrayal.”
Meghan added: “Because when I asked him, when the communications team told us, this is a story that was going to come out, which, by the way, the tabloids apparently knew about a month or so ago and decided on. wait until the Sunday before our wedding because they wanted to create drama, which is also a key point in all of this.

Meghan lived full-time with her father from the age of 11, while her mother Doria traveled for work.
Thomas said Meghan grew up on sets with him and got her start in Hollywood through a director he knew.
Thomas turns 80 on July 18 and said “the person I want to hear from most” is Meghan, although he doesn’t think she will contact him.
Thomas plans to spend the day with his son Thomas Jr at his home in Mexico and will also call his oldest daughter, Samantha, who has multiple sclerosis and is unable to travel from Florida.
