A YOUNG traveler who embarked on a motorhome conversion journey has now moved to the coast in his new home.
Harry bought his used van early last year and now, after tracking its progress online, he can proudly display his creation.
The innovative nomad, whose YouTube name is @thewandering_blueguided its 1.32 thousand subscribers through the conversion process.
One of your recent videos offered a full van tour where you can see the final product of Harry’s hard work.
The cobalt blue exterior has large raptor-style grilles that immediately attracted him.
Smiling, he said, “It’s so impressive, it looks cool.”
If you follow the six-foot-tall Harry into the van, where he can still stand, there’s a kitchen with a long, elegant wooden table.
“I’m really happy with it, this is my favorite part of the van.”
With multiple storage points, a wet compartment and a non-fixed bed that can be made in 15 seconds, the van looks like any other. adventurers to dream.
Additionally, the vehicle is powered by a large 240-watt solar panel placed on top that powers the light and refrigerator.
On a sunny day, even with all the lights on, there is more energy going in than going out.
It’s ideal for environmentally conscious travelers and to avoid those pesky energy bills.
There’s plenty of natural light coming from the five windows that Harry added himself.
The entire project is said to have cost around £6-7k, excluding the base vehicle, and from the looks of it it was worth the money.
Commenters on social media were quick to praise the setup and draw inspiration from the videos.
One wrote: “”Without a shadow of a doubt the best van conversion on the internet”
Another said: “It must be nice to have a house on wheels.”
Some also commented on how impressive his technical knowledge is at his age.
The young entrepreneur is also the digital channel manager for popular surfwear brand Saltrock
Instead of conversion videos, the Wandering Blue channel now posts videos of van life, starting with a wild camping weekend in Cornwall.
With “many more trips planned,” it looks like Harry will certainly make good use of his new coastal home.
