THEY may have married into the royal family, but Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s friendship has turned “poisonous”, according to a royal expert.

And from specific outfit choices to the name of her new lifestyle brand, the Duchess of Sussex could be sending some secret signals to the Princess of Wales.

Royal expert Tom Quinn said The mirror: “Meghan doesn’t feel guilty about Kate, because she feels that Kate should have been the only person in the royal family to support her against all odds.

“On top of that, Meghan knew Kate was an outsider, so she just couldn’t understand why Kate always followed the royal line instead of supporting her, Meghan, the other outsider.

“Kate’s cancer diagnosis came as a real shock to Meghan, but she sees no way of repairing the relationship simply because it has become so poisonous.”

But while a royal reunion may be sadly unlikely any time soon, could Meghan be sending those important messages from across the pond?

Last month, Meghan announced that she is launching a new lifestyle brand, which will focus on home, garden, food and general lifestyle content, according to Page six.

The name was revealed in Instagram and could give a hint about the future of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

American Riviera Orchard was reportedly chosen as the prime California area where Meghan and Harry live, Montecito, is known as the “American Riviera.”

By focusing on your only business in the couple’s new home in the US rather than Britain where they married, it implies that their future is very much focused across the pond – and the name also hints at the image the couple are now trying to portray.

Brand strategist Lucie Green told Grazia: “’American Riviera’ feels old money – and then ‘Orchard’ has a folky, Hamptonsy, Ina Garten feel.

The Duchess of Sussex said in her Harry & Meghan documentary that she tried to “fit in” into the royal family and added: “I’m not trying to stand out here.”

However, she admitted that there were times when she felt less formal, including when she was “barefoot” and wearing ripped jeans when she met William.

While it may have been shocking at the time, Meghan has proven that she is not willing to change royal protocol and still likes to go shoeless.

Meghan and Prince Harry hit the slopes in Canada in February to celebrate the Invictus Games – and the duchess is said to have sent a secret signal with her outfit.

The Duchess of Sussex looked every inch snow Queen at $240 (£190) Sorel Joan of Arctic Snow boots and an incredibly expensive £360 Burberry Pom Pom cashmere hat.

Fashion editor Amber Graafland told Fabulous that Meghan’s outfit color choice could have sent some hidden signals.

She said: “Adept at using her clothes to convey deeper meanings, Meghan’s use of angelic white could, of course, have a much deeper meaning.

“White symbolizes purity, innocence and neutrality.

Just days ago, Harry and Meghan were heavily criticized for launching a new website as part of their rebrand, with one royal expert criticizing them for “profiteering” from their royal ties.

The fashion editor claims another message was sent with Meghan’s April outfit.

Dress with a floral Oscar De la Renta shirt dress with long sleeves with cuffs, Meghan wore her long hair down and divided in half.

“Synonymous with purity, optimism and friendship, flowers represent growth and flourishing,” she said.

A royal expert has criticized Meghan’s decision to launch her new business on the same day as Princess Diana’s awards ceremony and at the time of Kate’s photoshop scandal as a show of “one-upmanship”.

Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun that “nothing is accidental” when it comes to the Sussexes.

He said: “The announcement is entirely consistent with the timing of all Sussex announcements.

“Nothing is accidental. They do it to obviously push the News in your opinion.”

Meghan Markle launched a new brand on Instagram called American Riviera Orchard.

Industry experts said the site will focus on home, food, gardening and lifestyle products.

A source told the Mail: “It’s a lifestyle and culinary brand called American Riviera Orchard.

“The brand aims to coincide with the launch of a new cooking show for Netflix.

“Meghan will make and sell products like jam. And at some point there will be a book and a blog, etc.”

Richard said the moment is also particularly significant because of the “extraordinary situation” surrounding Kate’s photoshop scandal.

The Princess of Wales has been dramatically forced to apologize for digitally altering a beautiful photo of her and her children on Mother’s Day.

Fitzwilliams said: “There’s no doubt the Sussexes are using the material at their disposal to outdo themselves. It’s obvious.”
