PRINCESS Kate will have loving husband William and a “delighted” King Charles by her side at Trooping the Color today.
The Princess of Wales, 42, announced on Friday that she would return for the King’s birthday celebrations after undergoing cancer treatment.
Brave Kate will travel in a carriage with 10-year-old Prince George, 9-year-old Princess Charlotte and six-year-old Prince Louis – meaning she will be able to wave to the crowds lining The Mall .
She will also watch the parade before appearing with the king, William and other royals on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Loving husband Wills said he is “pleased” with Kate’s return to work and the projects that “are important to her.”
A spokesperson for the Prince said: “The Prince is pleased to see the Princess beginning to engage with the work and projects that are important to her.
“He will continue to focus his time on supporting his wife and children while continuing to fulfill his public duties.”
Charles was also “delighted” that his daughter-in-law was about to return.
He said: “Her Majesty is delighted that the Princess will be able to take part in tomorrow’s events and is looking forward to all elements of the day.”
The mother of three has not been seen with the royal family since last year’s Christmas Day at Sandringham.
She went to hospital for abdominal surgery in January and spent 13 nights at the London Clinic before continuing her recovery at home with her family.
A few days later, she released a video revealing that “tests after the operation revealed the presence of cancer” and that she had started preventive cancer treatment.
Kate said the diagnosis came as a “huge shock” – but promised: “I’m fine and getting stronger every day.”
Ahead of Trooping the Color today, she said: “I have been overwhelmed by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last few months.

This beautiful photograph of Kate will reassure millions of people around the world.
She is very honest about her cancer treatment, but this photo makes it clear that she is winning her battle.
She looks amazing and almost back to normal after six months away.
Her stark honesty about “good days and bad days” will resonate with anyone battling cancer.
She makes it clear that she is “not out of the woods” but wants to return to public engagements starting today at Trooping the Color.
Your sense of duty is simply inspiring.
“It really made a big difference to William and me and helped us through some of the most difficult times.
“I’m making good progress, but as anyone undergoing chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days.
“On those bad days you feel weak, tired and have to give in
your body resting.
“But on good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of the feeling of well-being.”
Hopefully Kate’s return to the public will put an end to the cruel speculation

The Princess of Wales will return in public for the King’s Trooping the Color birthday celebrations this weekend – as she continues her cancer treatment.
The princess will travel in a carriage with Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade.
There she will watch Trooping the Color before taking the carriage back to the palace and appearing with the royals on the balcony.
In a personally written statement released today describing her cancer treatment, she admits to having made “good progress” but explains that there are “good days and bad days.”
She wrote that her treatment will be “ongoing and will last for a few more months” and she is “not out of the woods yet” and will “take each day as needed.”
And that she has been “overwhelmed” by “kind messages of support” since the cancer announcement.
While this is a dramatic development, six months since we last saw her with the Royal Family at Christmas comes as a shock – it’s understood this is not a return to a busy schedule of public engagements.
However, the princess is expected to participate in events throughout the summer.
But she has been holding meetings and is expected to appear at carefully selected events this summer, on the advice of her medical team.
We all remember that the Princess of Wales went to hospital in January and later revealed in that emotional video that she had cancer and asked for privacy while undergoing treatment.
She has been the target of vile comments and rumors from the darkest corners of the Internet, even as The Sun revealed a video showing her smiling and relaxing at Windsor Farm Shop with Prince William.
His appearance at Trooping is expected to put an end to the horrendous speculation.
Palace sources say the lies and speculation about her treatment and condition are pointless and put unnecessary pressure on the princess and her family.
Kate also shared how her treatment is “ongoing and will last for a few more months”, as she revealed she is “not out of the woods yet”.
But she said how it is a “joy” for her to still be involved in school life and dedicate time “to the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do some work at home”.
She added: “I’m looking forward to taking part in the King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hoping to take part in some public engagements over the summer, but also knowing that I’m not out of the woods yet.
“I’m learning to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.
“Thank you so much for your continued understanding and to all of you who have bravely shared your stories with me.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said it was “wonderful, wonderful news” that Princess Kate would take part in the Color Troops.
Speaking in Italy, he said his statement was “courageous, honest and I’m sure it will bring enormous comfort” to many others “struggling” with similar illnesses.
