The royal superyacht seen on hit TV show The Crown is for sale for a staggering price.
Known as Christina O, the 325-foot mega boat played host to a young man’s turbulent vacation Prince Charles and Princess Diana in the fifth season of Netflix’s smash hit.
After a successful TV career, the classic superyacht is now looking for a new home and has already been put on the market for a staggering £76 million.
The high price comes from the fact that it is the 45th largest yacht in the world in 2018 – as well as a long historical past.
Another key factor in the gargantuan cost is the elegance of the yacht, both inside and out.
The boat quickly became known as a unique luxury yacht after a series of renovations were completed following her assistance in World War II.
One of the most notable highlights was its Greek designer creating a swimming mosaic pool on the lower deck that could be drained and raised to become a dance floor.
Expert designers and art icons were enlisted to help with the superyacht, such as architect Cäsar Pinnau and illustrator Ludwig Bemelmans.
It can accommodate numerous guests in its 18 bedrooms and a master suite, as well as a staff of 38 people.
It can also boast a wide range of spa amenities and wellness opportunities.
Inside, rooms are as extravagant as expected, with a grand piano and long main dining table, as well as a golden spiral staircase and elegant bar.
Despite Prince Charles and Princess Diana never officially wore the Christina O, like their characters on The Crown did.
Retelling the turbulent story of a joint trip to Italy for their 10th wedding anniversary in 1991, the show used the superyacht in place of the real Alexander yacht that the royal couple used.
The superyacht was used in the filming of the first episode of the fifth season, off the coast of Mallorca.
In the episode, the story goes the holiday aboard the ship, which ended up being one of the family’s last outings before the seismic divorce.
Both vessels bear a striking resemblance and are equally luxurious, with photos of actors Elizabeth Debicki and Dominic West deftly playing the roles.
The yacht’s gross tonnage is a massive 1,848 GT and it also boasts an impressive top speed of 19 knots.
The Alexander’s luxury features

The real superyacht used by Prince Charles, Diana, William and Harry in 1991 was the famous Alexander.
It was a massive 397 feet long and had room for up to 54 guests and 60 crew.
Alexander is believed to be the third largest classic yacht in the world, with an interior volume of up to 5,933 gross tons.
It is said to have been manufactured in 1965 by the German shipyard Lubecker Flender Werke.
The ship has a private cinema, several open-air lounges and dining areas, as well as a helipad on the upper deck.
Other features include a double pool and a huge jacuzzi with panoramic sea views.
She is also powered by two MAN diesel engines that can produce 16,100 horsepower and reach a top speed of 18.5 knots.
It is typically seen sailing around Greece and the Red Sea.

It was launched in 1943 and was used as a crucial convoy escort during the Battle of the Atlantic and would have been in the Normandy landings.
Greek shipowner Aristotle Onassis took command after the war, paying just under £40,000 for it.
Onassis named her Christina after his daughter as he pumped almost £4 million into the boat to transform it into a superyacht.
Over the next For three decades, the superyacht played host to stars from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
