GEORGE, Charlotte and Louis have finished school at Lambrook for the summer holidays – and are expected to have a “low-key” but fun summer ahead.
Due to Princess Kate’s recovery from preventive cancer treatment, the Wales the family could spend part of the summer surrounded by nature at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
Royal biographer Claudia Joseph told Fabulous: “I hope William and Kate have a low-key summer this year while Kate undergoes treatment for cancer.
“I’m sure they will try to go to their country home at Anmer Hall if Kate has finished her preventative chemotherapy, but she may have to stay in Windsor if she is still undergoing treatment.
“We all know that William and Kate are very sporty – they took George and Charlotte to the Commonwealth Games, Lord’s, Six Nations and Wimbledon – but I think they are unlikely to make any public appearances this summer unless Kate is well enough. enough. to go to Wimbledon.
“They are most likely to be seen at Holkham Beach, a family favourite, going for bike rides and playing outside.”
BEAUTIFUL PLAY DATES
The Wales family may be royalty – but some of their friends have even more impressive homes of their own.
Claudia added: “William and Kate have a close-knit circle of friends in Norfolk who have been nicknamed the ‘Turnip Toffs’.”
And just an hour away, in Suffolk, is Prince George’s friend Ralph Tollemache, 12, who he watched Aston Villa com in April and could end this summer.
Ralph lives on a 400-acre property with his own drawbridge and 60-foot-wide moat.
Grade I listed Helmingham Hall has been in the Tollemache family for hundreds of years and would certainly be fit for royalty.
Although the house is off limits to the public, the gardens and deer park are open from May to September, with tickets costing £9 for adults and £4.50 for children.
GAMES WITH ‘GRANDPA WALES’
Traditionally, the royal family gathers at Balmoral to “unwind” away from the public on the sprawling Scottish estate.
Claudia added that “if Kate is well” it is likely they will spend some time with King Charles at the castle, but this has not yet been confirmed by the palace.
She continued: “The children call him Grandpa Wales and he loves playing with them in the garden and reading to them.”
The Wales family has a modest three-bedroom house on the 50,000-acre property called Tam-Na-Ghar, which provides complete privacy while they enjoy activities such as hiking, picnicking and fishing.
CHIPPIE DINNERS
The royals have a team of chefs to prepare meals every day as you would imagine, but it is also said that they also enjoy sampling local food from time to time at Balmoral.
A royal source told Fabulous that the Queen used to indulge in fish and chips when she was at Balmoral.
They revealed: “A footman is sent to collect him from the local town of Ballater.”
Scotland it is a place of happy and sad memories for Prince William.
He met Kate while at St Andrew’s University, but also learned of his mother’s tragic death whilst at Balmoral in 1997.
MIDDLETON MOMENTS
The children are also likely to spend time with their other grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
Claudia added: “Michael and Carole have been a source of strength for William and Kate as she battles cancer.
“I’m sure they will spend a lot of time over the summer with their family and taking care of them.”
SIMPLE PLEASURE
They may be worth £1.05 billion and have access to royal palaces, but William and Kate prefer a more modest lifestyle.
Claudia added: “I think the key to William and Kate’s raising their children is to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, like building dens, gardening, going for walks, kicking a soccer and diving in lagoons.
Admittedly, with ten bedrooms and sprawling grounds, Anmer Hall isn’t exactly your typical holiday home or caravan – but once there, the family love nothing more than a low-key day trip exploring the local area.
BEACH BREAK FOR DOLPHIN WATCHING
Royal expert Jennie Bond speculated that a trip to Cornwall could also be on the cards.
She told OK!: “If Catherine’s medical condition allows, they may have a few days on the Isles of Scilly – which is one of their favorite places, where they are pretty much alone to enjoy the beaches and countryside during precious family time. .
“But if her treatment means she has to stay closer to home, they will love staying at Anmer Hall – perhaps with some of their cousins and family visiting them there.”
It’s a place that’s close to Prince William’s heart, especially because he vacationed there as a child with his parents, King Charles and Princess Diana.
In 2020, the family was seen discreetly cycling around Tresco Island, with one onlooker telling The Sun: “We barely noticed at first as they looked like a normal family on holiday intent on keeping to themselves.
“The place where they were staying was quite modest and certainly not very luxurious.”
A source told Fabulous: “The Cambridges and royal protection officers took a helicopter flight to Tresco.
“Boat taxis known as Specials were organized for low-key scenic boat trips for the family to be taken privately to some of the wildest islands for bird and dolphin watching.”
