According to body language expert Judi James, the image – taken by Kate in Windsor earlier this month – includes six indicators of Prince George’s new “confidence.”

Judi told Fabulous: “Like all of his family, George has experienced a growth spurt over the past year.

“His mother’s illness will have had an impact on them all, but there were also fun times, like when he was a Taylor Swift fan with his dad and sister and then his appearance at the Euros.

“This pose reflects that year very well, emitting six important body language signals that provide clues about your personality…”

1) GROWING SENSE OF CONFIDENCE

Judi shared: “Like his father, George has always shown signs of shyness, but this pose emphatically lets us know that he is now becoming a more confident young man.

“Your shoulders and posture signal a guaranteed feeling of relaxation here.

“Even his hands seem to be hanging in his lap, with no signs of tension. No one needed to make him laugh or smile for this pose, which he seems to have taken control of for the first time.”

2) MORE SENSITIVE AND REFLECTIVE LOOK

In the past, we’ve seen Prince George playing on the beach for his birthday image, but Judi stated that this photo changed the feeling.

She explained: “This is not a childhood pose, running in the garden or playing on vacation.

“This suggests an increasingly responsible, sensible and caring side emerging to his personality.”

3) LOVING AND COMPLEX SMILE

The body language expert shared how Prince George often mirrors his parents’ body language, but has now developed his own smile.

She explained: “This is an asymmetrical smile that sits higher on one side.

“This smile seems to show that George is asserting his individual personality now, as it is not an imitated or mirrored smile that he copied from his parents.

“William’s smile always involves a lot of wrinkles and suppression around the mouth and Kate’s smile is almost always symmetrical.

“George’s body language still shows strong mirroring rituals of his father, but this more individual smiling style suggests that he also has his own friends or mentors ‘outside’ the close family team.”

4) NARROW-EYED ‘FIRM’ SMILE

Judi stated that Prince George has a “steady” smile, which mirrors that of the late Queen.

She added: “This gesture suggests some growing firmness or evaluative characteristics that would harken back to your grandfather and great-grandmother.

“It’s a very affectionate smile, but not the rounded, widened expression of childhood.”

Kate Middleton’s ‘golden rule’ with George, Charlotte and Louis

KATE’s main rule for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis is kindness.

According to HELLO! Online Royal Correspondent: “Based on observations of photographs of Princess Diana at the time and the current Princess of Wales, both are very affectionate with their children.

“Kate is often seen holding her children’s hands or picking them up to hug them when they were younger.

“There are often a lot of comforting gestures, like patting their back or stroking their hair. When interacting with other children at her public engagements, Kate often crouches down to their level to interact with them – something Diana often did. “

When she is at the family home at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, despite her royal status, sources say Kate is just like any other “normal mother”.

A friend explained that behind closed doors, the 42-year-old is “very calm at home” but is definitely not a pushover and will scold the children when necessary.

They told people: “It’s a normal, busy family home, with kids running around and knocking things over.

“She is doing this to help her children be more grounded and keep reality in check. That’s what really matters to her.”

5) POP STAR PHOTO

The body language expert commented on choosing a stylish black and white photo for the milestone occasion.

She added: “The monochromatic photo is a really cool and stylish choice that seems to hint that this is now the kid moving in Taylor Swift style circles.

“Normally we see the royal children posing in the blues and whites of childhood and with an emphasis on idyllic outdoor living on beaches or in gardens, but George here has a more cosmopolitan look that hints at a Vogue spread out instead of being photographed on a family day at the beach.

“Even his hair He has a new pop-star topknot hanging from one side of his forehead.”

6) GEORGE’S ESTATE

Judi said Prince George appears to own the photo rather than being forced to take a photo Photograph for the event.

The body language professional explained how you can see this through your “sideways and upward gaze at the camera.”

She added: “George is no longer looking directly at the camera, his pose suggests he has been ‘caught’ relaxing or looking away, with his attention drawn to the lens.

“This suggests he has more control over the pose, which again suggests a growing sense of confidence and making choices.”
