Kensington Palace has not confirmed her attendance, with Kate currently undergoing preventative cancer treatment following her diagnosis earlier this year.

Royal author Phil Dampier told Fabulous: “I’m sure Kate would love to go to Paris with William to attend some events, but whether she goes or not will depend on the advice of her doctors.

“It was great to see her at Trooping the Color and present the trophy to Carlos Alcaraz at Wimbledon, but she will control herself and not do too much too soon because of her cancer diagnosis.

“She is still undergoing treatment and recovering, so she needs to be careful.

“Big sporting events are obviously a breeding ground for viruses and there’s a lot of Covid going around at the moment so she wouldn’t want to catch that.”

Sports fans Prince William and Princess Kate have already attended the 2012 Olympics in London, with the royal mother of three being an avid hockey It is tennis player.

Phil added: “It’s been a tough year for Kate and William and I’m sure they’re looking forward to enjoying a family holiday with their children.

“The GB team would love to see them in Paris, but they are getting fantastic support from the stalwart Princess Anne, so it’s not like there isn’t a royal presence.”

Currently the Wales family is having a summer vacation with Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis.

The Princess of Wales is still undergoing cancer treatment and has only held a few public engagements since announcing her diagnosis in March.

In June, she updated fans: “I’ve been overwhelmed by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the past few months.”

She added: “My treatment is ongoing and will last for a few more months.

“On days when I feel good, it is a joy to participate in school life, to dedicate my personal time to the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to work a little from home.

“I’m looking forward to taking part in the King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hoping to take part in some public engagements over the summer, but also knowing that I’m not out of the woods yet.”

Kate made a triumphant return to Trooping the Color, where she was photographed on the balcony with her family, and also attended the Wimbledon men’s final with Princess Charlotte.

Fabulous has contacted Kensington Palace for comment.
