Prince Andrew’s home at Royal Lodge is “crumbling” and “in need of major repairs” after he refused to leave the 30-bedroom mansion.

The house’s deterioration threatens to reignite the Duke of York’s feud with the King and William after he struck a deal to stay.

New photos show crumbling paintwork and cracks forming on the outside of a 19th-century Grade II listed property.

The disgraced Duke, 64, is said to have already invested £7.5million in repairs, but sources say he cannot continue to foot the £400,000-a-year bill.

The Sun reported last year that the house currently needs around £2 million worth of repairs, with the Duke reportedly paying £200,000 towards repairs to the roof.

Very little work has been carried out on the property since Andrew spent £7 million on repairs when he moved after the Queen Mother’s death in 2002.

The royal, who no longer has official duties, shares the sprawling 30-bedroom Windsor mansion with just his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

Last year, Andrew and the king clashed when it was said that Charles wanted to evict his brother from his home, with courtiers saying that Prince William and his family would eventually move to the vast estate.

A source said to the mirror that Andrew had a clear responsibility for repairs after reaching the deal with his brother.

They said: “Prince Andrew was told that he must take charge of the necessary renovations or he would have no reason to stay in the house.”

The source said the king was very concerned about the state of the house.

“There is no doubt that the King will be alarmed at the true state of the residence after the Duke assured him that everything was under control.”

Royal expert Ingrid Seward said: “The reason Charles has problems with Andrew is because of Andrew’s inflated sense of self-importance, which is why he feels he should live in a palace or somewhere similar.”

Andrew has lived in the Lodge for 20 years and signed a 75-year lease, paying just £250 a week.

In January, sources told the Daily Mail: “Andrew isn’t going anywhere. He has a cast iron lease.”

Charles has previously stated that Andrew should move to nearby Frogmore Cottage – the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan.

But the brothers reached an agreement last summer allowing Andrew to stay at home.

Andrew was forced to step down from royal duties following the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

He paid a £12 million settlement to Virginia Guiffre, who accused him of sleeping with her when she was a teenager – which he denied.

Charles in good spirits as he was seen leaving church service just one day before his first coronation anniversary

KING Charles looked in good spirits as he was seen leaving a church service the day before his first coronation anniversary.

The monarch looked in good spirits as he spoke to a vicar after a Sunday service in Gloucestershire.

Charles, who marks the first year of his and Camilla’s coronation tomorrow, looked dapper as he wore a gray suit and a navy blue tie with red stripes.

The king’s trip to church followed a busy week that marked his return to public engagements since being diagnosed with cancer earlier in the year.

Her Majesty chose to make her public return by visiting a cancer hospital.

The monarch and Queen Camilla, 76, visited the Macmillan Cancer Center at University College Hospital in London, where they met with staff who treat and offer support to cancer patients.
