PRINCE WILLIAM told England’s stars: Stay calm and keep believing in your Euro 2024 dream.

The heir to the throne spoke to Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions after their lifeless 1-1 draw with Denmark in Frankfurt.

He lifted spirits when English legends Alan Shearer, Gary Lineker and Rio Ferdinand attacked Southgate’s side.

England tried to bounce back against Slovenia on Tuesday and midfielder Adam Wharton said: “He was just trying to keep us all positive.

“He was saying, ‘It’s not the end of the world.’

“We were thinking that we remained at the top of the group, we didn’t lose, we drew.

We just have to reflect on the game, see how we can improve and wait for the next game.

“That’s all you can do in football tournaments.”

Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford insists England will not panic despite a slow start in Germany.

Boss Southgate admitted his pre-Europe favorites are “falling short” of expectations after beating Serbia 1-0 and drawing with the Danes.

But former England striker Lineker said on his Rest is Football podcast: “It’s an insult to some of the players who are there.

“There are players on this team who could do that – even the young players he signed, Adam Wharton, could do that.

“Kobbie Mainoo could probably do that. Jude Bellingham could play.

“Players just need instructions, players need to understand what their roles are.”

Trippier said: “We could have been happier but the dressing room was calm and relaxed. Gareth and Harry Kane exchanged a few words.
