PRINCE Harry will be “heartbroken” not to be informed about King Charles and Princess Kate’s cancer treatments, according to a royal author.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not invited to this year’s Trooping the Color, despite many members of the royal family – including Princess Kate – being in attendance.

Speaking to Fabulous, Phil Dampier said: “There is no way the King or Prince William would share details of his cancer treatment with Harry.

“They simply don’t trust him and are afraid that anything they tell him about Charles or Catherine will end up in the public domain, whether in the press, on a podcast or on social media.

“We all know how relations have deteriorated over the last two years and I fear it will be a long time before there is any possibility of reconciliation.

“If Harry feels excluded and marginalized, I fear it is his fault.

“Harry may be heartbroken not to hear from his family, but he has only himself to blame.”

Phil, author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan in Their Own Words, highlighted that on his recent four-day visit to the UK in May, Prince Harry did not see his father or brother.

At the time, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex blamed King Charles’ busy schedule for the lack of meetings.

They said: “Unfortunately it will not be possible due to Her Majesty’s full programme.

“The Duke, of course, understands his father’s schedule and various other priorities and looks forward to seeing him soon.”

Phil added: “William’s main priority is to protect Catherine from any stress or upset and the king is also in no mood to go through some kind of emotional rollercoaster with an unpredictable Harry.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘DO NOT feel ending conflict with Kate and William is their responsibility,’ royal source says

“I would like to think that at some point the penny dropped for Harry and he realized he had permanently damaged his relationship with his blood family, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

“It’s very sad because Harry was once very popular and the king is not seeing his grandchildren.”

It comes as Prince Harry was seen for the first time in a month talking about how grief “eats away at you”.

The Duke of Sussex said children who have lost their parents cannot “suppress” their grief forever.

Harry was just 12 years old when his mother, Princess Diana, died in a car accident in 1997.

He made the comments while joining Scotty’s Little Soldiers founder Nikki Scott for a candid conversation about children who lose parents.

In the clip, Harry said: “That’s the hardest thing, I think, especially for the kids – I don’t want to talk about it, it’ll make me sad.

“But then I realize that if I talk about it and celebrate their lives, things will get easier.

“You can’t suppress it for long, it’s not sustainable. It will eat you up inside.”
