TWO children crashed D-Day celebrations to show the King and Queen their commemorative plaques – and were then photographed by the French president.
cheeky look cadet Toby Guy, 13, and his sister Ellie Mae, seven, took action yesterday in Normandy.
Mum Kerry, 44, said: “Toby went straight to a secure area and said he wanted to show his dish to the king.”
The brave move paid off and led to an emotional exchange with the royals.
Toby spoke to Charles about his great-grandfather Raymond Holden, who landed on D-Day with HMS Mackay.
The King told him: “We must never forget those who fought for us.”
Meanwhile, Ellie Mae told Camilla, “I love you, you’re my favorite queen of all time.”
She replied, “You are a beautiful little girl.”
Also present were Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte, and the French president wanted to capture the sweet moment.
Kerry said: “He took my husband’s phone, said ‘give me your phone, boy’ and then took pictures with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
“We literally have President Macron’s fingerprints on my husband’s iPhone.”
Kerry, from South Woodford, east London, takes part in the celebrations every year, and her children distribute the dishes they make.
She said she was “extremely proud” of them.
