Royal Challengers Bengaluru superstar Virat Kohli was in superb form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 clash against Gujarat Titans on Sunday. Be it on the field, with the bat or with the microphone in his hand, Kohli was on fire throughout the game. Although his moment to bat came later in the game, the RCB star made his aggression visible early on in the field. After Bengaluru pacer Mohammed Siraj cleaned up Gujarat batsman Shahrukh Khan, Virat could be seen giving the batsman a dismissal from the boundary rope.

In a video that surfaced on social media, Kohli can be seen pointing towards the pavilion right after Siraj bowled Shahrukh. Here is the video:

Kohli scored a 44-ball 70 in the match while his teammate Will Jacks recorded a 41-ball 100. The start Virat gave RCB, especially when Jacks was struggling to center the ball, set the right platform for the Bengaluru franchise to chase under target of 201 races.

After the game, Kohli made sure to let critics know his mindset over the talk about his strike rate and him not playing spin bowlers well.

“All the people who talk about strike rates and me not playing well are the ones who talk about those things. For me it’s about winning games for the team and there’s a reason why you’ve been doing this for 15 years, you’ve been doing this every day, you’ve won games for your teams, I’m not sure you haven’t been in that situation , sit down and talk about the game in the area to me. , people can talk about their assumptions day after day, but those who do it day after day know what’s going on and it’s kind of muscle memory for me now,” he said.
