Former Pakistan cricket team star Ramiz Raja was extremely unhappy with the coverage of the T20I series between Pakistan and Ireland. Ireland won the first T20I but Pakistan recovered to win the second match of the series which is the start of the 2024 T20 World Cup. Pakistan will face England in a four-T20I series. Raja said the lack of DRS and replays is not befitting a match against Pakistan and added that he was not able to follow the action properly.

“One thing I don’t like at all is the coverage of this game. It looks like a club game is being broadcast. Only two cameras are there. There is no DRS, no replays, you have no idea of ​​the limit rope, you cannot enjoy a good shot or good balls thrown. This is extremely unfair to Pakistan’s cricket product. He also said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should have looked into the matter.

“Someone should have discovered this sooner. If the coverage was like this, whoever the broadcaster was should have acquired the rights from Cricket Ireland. I know they have the rights but they should have been taken away and the coverage should have been much better for this series because this marks the start of our road to the World Cup.”
