Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant are two Delhi boys who are among the best cricketers in the country. Both will play a crucial role when the Indian cricket team takes action in the 2024 T20 World Cup next month. The stars are currently playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (Kohli) and Delhi Capitals (Pant) in IPL 2024. On Tuesday, a video surfaced on social media when Kohli could be seen gesturing at Pant during a recent RCB vs DC game. The wicketkeeper was smiling and standing, while Kohli gestured and seemed to say, “I’m going to hit you, sit down.” Pant then sat down but continued to smile.

Star Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Indian batsman Virat Kohli continue to prove their undeniable worth as a T20 player amid differing opinions from fans, cricket experts and former players, giving Men in Blue a boost ahead of the World Cup 2024 ICC T20 which will take place in West Indies and USA this year from June 1. Continuing his good run with the bat and indicating that he can hit hard on ball one if required, Virat hit a solid 27 off just 13 balls against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday.
His knock had four and three massive sixes and a strike rate of over 207. A big part of that knock was his back and forth with compatriot and pacer Ishant Sharma, someone who has been close to Virat since his academy days. Both exchanged jokes, laughed and tried to outdo each other before a fine delivery from Ishant was swiped by Virat straight into the hands of wicketkeeper Abhishek Porel.
In the current season, Virat is the Orange Cap holder for most runs, making 661 runs at an average of 66.10 and a strike rate of 155.16, with one century and five fifties. His best score is 113*. RCB, who made a remarkable comeback in the tournament with five consecutive wins after a horrible first-half win-loss record of 1-6, will need Virat to be at his best against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their final league game in Bengaluru on May 18 for a shot at the playoffs.
