Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins appeared relaxed a day after his team booked its place in the IPL 2024 playoffs on Thursday. SRH became the third team along with Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals to book their place in the Top 4 after their match against Gujarat Titans was abandoned due to rain. In a video that has now gone viral on social media, Cummins was seen playing cricket with school children. Cummins has emerged as a favorite among SRH fans after leading them to the playoffs thanks to explosive batting performances from top-order stars.

Pat Cummins-led Sunrisers Hyderabad became the third team after Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals to book a place in the playoffs of IPL 2024 after rain doused their clash against Gujarat Titans at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Thursday .

As the match was canceled without the ball being thrown, SRH and GT now share one point each. With SRH’s tally now at 15 points, it means they have already qualified for the playoffs. They now need to beat Punjab Kings on Sunday and hope Rajasthan Royals lose to Kolkata Knight Riders to have a chance of finishing in the top two.

SRH’s entry into the playoffs means that Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants will be eliminated from the race for the playoffs. This also means that the final playoff spot will be decided by the all-important clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday.
