Royal Challengers Bengaluru recorded a big win over Chennai Super Kings to become the fourth team to book their place in the playoffs of IPL 2024. RCB came into the match with a victory needed to book their place in the Top 4 and the Faf Du-led team Plessis managed to close the game by 27 runs. Celebrations broke out in the stadium soon after the victory with the players also taking part, to the point where MS Dhoni left without shaking hands after waiting for some time. Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu followed RCB’s celebrations and joked that CSK should give them one of their trophies.

“RCB has already won the IPL. The way they celebrated last night. There are people on the way and every street in Bengaluru is full of RCB fans,” Rayudu said in sports star.

Rayudu’s former teammate Varun Aaron made a hilarious dig.

“Just pure CSK. I’m just not able to digest the fact that they lost,” Aaron interrupted.

However, Rayudu went on to talk about RCB’s celebrations after the match.

“CSK should give one of their trophies to RCB and they can show it off in Bengaluru,” he countered.

“He just can’t digest the fact that RCB knocked out CSK,” Aaron replied.

Meanwhile, RCB captain Faf Du Plessis dedicated his Man of the Match award to pacer Yash Dayal.

“I dedicate this Man of the Match to Yash Dayal. The way he played was unbelievable. For a relatively young man, he deserves it. [on what he told Dayal before the last over] Pace is the best option in this field and trust your skills and have fun, that’s what you trained for. The yorker didn’t hit the first ball and he walked again and it worked incredibly well,” said Faf after the match.
