The RCB vs CSK IPL 2024 game was a charged encounter. Royal Challengers Bengaluru, led by Faf du Plessis, won the contest in style to secure the final playoff spot in IPL 2024. During the match, RCB, who are now on a six-game winning streak, were quite aggressive during all CSK entries. Every wicket was celebrated with extra fervor and the fielding attempts were great too.

There was a time when the RCB players were not satisfied with the umpires’ decision. The point of contention appeared to be a no ball from Lockie Ferguson to Rachin Ravindra. Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli appeared to be telling the umpire that the slippery ball was to blame. Something the duo complained about a few years ago.

Even after du Plessis left, Kohli came back and said something to the umpire. Australian great Matthew Hayden, who was a member of CSK, criticized Kohli’s behavior.

“There are a lot of interjections from Virat Kohli. He’s not the captain and he shouldn’t be in these conversations with the referee,” Hayden said in the comments.

Meanwhile, former Indian batsman Ambati Rayudu, who played for franchises like CSK and Mumbai Indians, feels Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are favorites in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Eliminator against Rajasthan Royals, to be played in Narendra. Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Faf du Plessis-led RCB are unbeaten in six matches after winning just one of their opening seven matches.

Sharing his thoughts on the Eliminator clash, Rayudu backed Bengaluru over Rajasthan as the latter comes on the back of a defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders that left them third in the points table.

“I think RCB are clear favorites for me, the way they are playing and they played a clinical game against CSK and RR, I don’t know if this gap in the game will help, this failure would help them move forward. in an eliminator against RCB, which I feel is now a mature team and every player knows his role, so I think RCB are the ones who will eventually go to knockout 2,” Rayudu said on Star Sports Cricket Live.
