Afridi was criticized for the video, with some fans pointing out that he failed to take wicket during the US chase.
What a disgraceful behavior haha how can you watch a match where you took zero wickets (your main role) and then make a tiktok about it pic.twitter.com/bGWSV8z7T6

“Disgraceful behavior… how can you watch a match where you took zero wickets (your main role) and then make a tiktok about it,” said an angry fan.
Pakistan suffered defeat to USA after the match went to Super Over. Afridi did not receive the ball for the Super Over. Instead, the returning Mohammad Amir bowled but conceded 18.
Afridi conceded 33 runs in his 4 overs.
The defeat to the USA has left Pakistan in a precarious position in Group A of the 2024 T20 World Cup. The USA are now top of the group with two wins in as many games, thus increasing the pressure on Pakistan ahead of the blockbuster game against arch-rivals India.
To increase Pakistan’s pressure, they play India at the Nassau County International Stadium in New York, a stadium where India have already played twice and got used to the pitch conditions.
However, Pakistan’s pace attack of Afridi, Amir, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf will likely find more assistance on the New York track.
