India’s star batsman Virat Kohli is going through a lean phase in the T20 World Cup 2024. Kohli has scored just 5 runs overall in his three innings in the mega event so far. However, Kohli’s fans took it upon themselves to cheer for the player during India’s games. In a viral video from the 2024 T20 World Cup, fans could be heard chanting Anushka’s name with a new slogan. “Diwali ho ya Holi, Anushka loves Kohli,” fans sang while Kohli was on the field.
After hearing the cheers, Kohli greeted the fans by raising his hand before taking his position to enter the field.

Kohli is going through a lean phase but Indian great Sunil Gavaskar has suggested that there is nothing to worry about with his form. However, the former Indian batsman added that Kohli needs to show some patience.
“The biggest motivation for any player is to win matches, especially when you play for your country. He has done really well for India over the years and won so many games. the tournament. There are Super 8s, semi-finals and hopefully the final. All he needs to do is show patience and faith in himself, which I think he has in spades,” Gavaskar told Star Sports.
“When you get three low scores, it doesn’t mean he’s not batting well. Sometimes you get good deliveries. On any other day, the ball would have gone wide or over the boundary, today it didn’t happen. So there’s nothing We have to worry about it. We have to show faith in him. Many believe he will recover sooner or later,” he added.
