A: It is a very happy occasion and I really hope that the current ICC trophy drought finally comes to an end. We hope that this time we will end the drought and become world champions.
Q. Do you think South Africa will be a tough challenge for the Indian team?
A: Given the performance of the Indian team, I am fully confident that India will perform well and win this match as they have not lost a single match in the entire tournament. Considering the form of all our players, I am sure India will win this final.
Q. What do you think of Rohit Sharma’s captaincy and his performance?
A: He did a fantastic job as captain. He has led from the front and the team is expressing itself and playing as a unit. Everyone is given their job and luckily all players are completing their tasks. I send my best wishes to Team India and hope we win today.
