‘My Bachhu’: Krunal Pandya Breaks Down in Heartfelt Post for Brother Hardik Pandya

Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya penned a heartfelt note to brother Hardik Pandya, who played a crucial role in India ending an 11-year wait for the ICC title during the recently concluded T20 World Cup. Responding to the criticism that Hardik had to face, especially during IPL 2024, Krunal revealed that playing for India has always been his younger brother’s biggest priority. In a long post on Instagram, Krunal also pointed out how fans bowed down and hounded Hardik, who kept his head on the ground and responded to criticism with his performance during the T20 World Cup.

“It has been almost a decade since Hardik and I started playing professional cricket. And the last few days have been like a fairy tale we dreamed of. be more emotional that my brother is at the center of it all,” Krunal captioned a photo album.

Krunal insisted that the criticism only motivated Hardik to come back even stronger.

“The last six months have been the toughest for Hardik. He just didn’t deserve what he went through, and as a brother, I felt really, really bad for him. Ultimately, we all forget that he is just a human being who also has emotions. He somehow got through it all with a smile, even though I know how hard it was for him to smile. hard and focusing on what he needed to do to get the World Cup, as that was his ultimate goal.”

“For Hardik, the country has always been first, and it will always be that way. For a young man coming from Baroda, there can be no greater achievement than helping his team win the World Cup. Hardik, I am very, very proud of you. I love you so much, and you deserve all the happiness and all the good things that are coming your way, I have immense respect for you, my bachhu,” he added.


Recently, Hardik also admitted that although the last six months have been difficult for him, he has never lost his temper.

“The last 6 months have been a lot of fun for me, there have been a lot of ups and downs and the public has booed me. Many things happened and I always felt that if I gave any answers it would be through sport. Therefore, I believed that I would remain strong and work hard,” Hardik Pandya said during an interaction with PM Modi at the Prime Minister’s residence in Delhi.
