Sikandar Raza-led Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to play Shubman Gill’s India in the fifth match of the five-match T20I series at Harare Sports Club on Sunday. Shubman Gill-led India bounced back in the five-match T20I series after losing the first game by 13 runs. The Men in Blue have won the last three games of the series. They come into this match after beating the hosts by 10 wickets. The Men in Blue are in top form and will start the match as favourites.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe failed to maintain momentum in the series after winning the opening game of the series.

The hosts are eager to end the series on a high note and win the final match of the series. Speaking at the toss, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza said the Harare Sports Club pitch had improved.

“We will bowl first. The wicket has improved. They will improve when we bat second. The motivation, confidence and skill set are there. Chatara is rested,” Raza said.

Indian captain Shubman Gill said Riyan Parag and Mukesh Kumar have made it into the Men in Blue’s first eleven.

“We wanted to bat first anyway. Our spinners bowled well and the fast bowlers were economical. The bowlers are hungry. It’s not easy to play back-to-back matches. A few changes. Mukesh Kumar and Parag come in,” said Gil.

As for the match, India registers yet another comprehensive victory in the match, ending the series 4-1.
