TEngland men’s football team coach Gareth Southgate has resigned following a narrow defeat to Spain in the European Football Championship final.
Southgate said “it’s time for change and a new chapter”, in a declaration on Tuesday. The England manager faced personal criticism in the early stages of the tournament when his team narrowly won their opening games.
After 102 games and almost eight years in charge, Gareth Southgate announced that he will step down as coach of the #ThreeLeions.
