Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya announced in an Instagram post on Thursday that he and his wife Natasa Stankovic have “mutually separated”. Over the past few months, there have been rumors that the celebrity couple was splitting up, and with Thursday’s announcement, it has been officially confirmed. Hardik Pandya has been a crucial player for the Indian cricket team in recent years, while Natasa has worked in films. They got engaged in January 2020 and have a four-year-old son, Agastya.

In a joint Instagram post on Thursday, Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic wrote, “After 4 years together, Natasa and I have mutually decided to separate. in the best interests of both of us. This was a difficult decision to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we raised a family.

“We are blessed with Agastya who will continue to be at the center of our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding in giving us the privacy during this difficult time and delicate.

The first rumors that the two were dating surfaced around 2018 and then, in an Instagram post in 2019, Natasa referred to Pandya as ‘best friend’. The two got engaged on January 1, 2020, and welcomed their son Agastya the same year in July. Pandya and Natasa renewed their vows in Udaipur on February 14, 2023.

The couple was often seen together at social gatherings and was loved on camera. Just like Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma, the duo was yet another example of an Indian cricketer marrying an actor. But from May 2024, rumors began to circulate that all was not well between them.

Previously, the duo was proactive in posting their images together, but suddenly in the last few months, this came to a complete halt. Although Natasa had previously attended IPL matches where Pandya played, in IPL 2024 none of that was visible. This sparked rumors that the two were breaking up.
