The 2024 Olympics may be officially hosted in Paris, but the event venues are spread across 34 locations. From the city’s iconic Eiffel Tower to stadiums across France, the Olympics will be held in a variety of settings. The surfing event won’t even be held in France, but rather on the picturesque French-ruled island of Tahiti, located in the heart of the Pacific Ocean. Let’s take a short tour of the various Paris Games locations.
All 34 2024 Olympics Sites:
Aquatic Center
It is one of only two permanent sports venues built for Paris 2024. The 5,000-seat venue will change to 2,500 seats after the Olympics to host neighborhood events.

Arena Bercy
Built in 1984, this arena has hosted the Rolex Paris Masters as well as many concerts. Its pyramid design makes it stand out.

Bordeaux Stadium
Home to the French football club Girondins de Bordeaux, a club for which Zinedine Zidane played, the Bordeaux Stadium will be one of the football venues in Paris 2024.

It may be a temporary building, but it covers an area of 10,000 square meters and will also host Paralympic Games events. Sustainable material was used to build the arena.

Versailles Castle
The place has been home to French royalty since the 17th century, and became a museum in the 19th century. It became the first French site to receive UNESCO World Heritage status. Temporary facilities have been installed at the palace ahead of Paris 2024.

Chateauroux Shooting Center
The center can now accommodate international pistol and air rifle competitions and will host all indoor shooting finals during the Paris Olympics. 15 shooting events will take place here.
Eiffel Tower Stadium
Located near the famous Eiffel Tower, a temporary outdoor arena has been built next to Paris’ iconic public gardens.

Mount Elancourt
The place is located at an altitude of 231 meters and is the highest point in Paris. After the events of Paris 2024, several routes will be left to offer accessible tests to children and families.

Home to Nantes, a French Ligue 1 football club, La Beaujoire Stadium is one of the venues that will host football during Paris 2024.

The Concordia
With sports such as breaking, surfing, skateboarding and sport climbing debuting at the Olympics, La Concorde will be temporarily transformed into an Open Arena. It will be reinstated after the tournament using sustainable methods.

La Bourget sport climbing site
Five climbing walls will be used in the newly introduced Olympic sport of sport climbing: one indoor and four outdoor. Clubs, associations and local residents will be able to use them after the Olympics end.

Golf National was conceived in 1991 as the headquarters of the national golf technical center. It took three years of work to transform the 139 hectare site into a venue that is home to two 18-hole courses and a 7-hole beginners course.

Better known as the Orange Velodrome, the Olympique de Marseille stadium is one of the venues that will host football at the Paris Olympics in 2024.

With a capacity for more than 35,000 people, the stadium of the French football club OGC Nice was structured with solar panels on the roof and rainwater collection systems. It will host football during the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Villepinte Exhibition Center will be transformed into a large modular sports facility called ‘North Paris Arena’ during Paris 2024. It will host the boxing preliminary events and the fencing qualifying round of the modern pentathlon.

Normally used for football as the home stadium of Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille, the Pierre Mauroy Stadium will be used for different sports throughout Paris 2024.

Alexandre III Bridge
At 45 meters wide and 107 meters long, the Pont Alexandre III will create a panoramic setting for many events during the Paris Olympics. It also connects the Grand Palais and the Invalides.

Arena Porte de Chapelle
The 8,000-seat arena follows the Paris Olympics’ goal of being the greenest Olympics ever. 80% of the building’s surface will be covered by vegetation, blending in with parks and gardens. It will also be open to everyone.

Roland-Garros Stadium
Iconic French Open arena, the historic venue will once again be the home of tennis during the Olympics, with its magnificent clay surface. The venue now also consists of a retractable roof.

Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines BMX Stadium
Track cycling and BMX events will be common here. After the temporary facilities disappear after the Olympics, riders of all ages will still be welcome on the BMX track.

This avenue was built with the sole aim of hosting international competitions. Having hosted the French Track Championships in 2014, the World Championships in 2015 and the European Championships in 2016, this avenue will now host the Summer Olympics and Paralympics.

Paris South Arena
Formerly home to the Paris Fair, the site is part of the Paris Expo, a region that receives more than 7.5 million visitors every year. A decade-long renovation program has prepared it for Paris 2024.

The complex is structured around three main features of the Vaires-Torcy leisure base: the lake, the white water stadium and the seating area. It will host the rowing and canoe-kayak events during Paris 2024.

Yves-du-Manoir Stadium
