‘It drives me crazy,’ New York Yankees stars fume over latest tactics rivals are using to stop superstar slugger Aaron Judge

NEW York Yankees stars have admitted their growing anger at the tactics their rivals are using to stop Aaron Judge.

Judge was intentionally run over three more times during Sunday’s meeting between the Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays.

And outfielder Juan Soto left no one in doubt about his feelings on the matter.

“It sucks because you want him on base,” Soto said.

“I’m doing my best to [get] him and seeing them ignore him really drives me crazy.

I do not like this. I want them to challenge him and see what he can really do.”

Despite his obvious annoyance, Soto accepted that this was part of the game’s tactics.

“They’re also trying to win, so you respect that,” he said.

Judge became the first Yankee to intentionally pass three times in an MLB game since Bernie Williams in September 1999.

This followed Saturday’s events when Judge hit a two-run shot in the first inning.

It was the 41st of the season for Judge, who leads the league.

That’s when the Blue Jays struck out Judge, with no one on base and two outs.

The crowd at Yankee Stadium shouted their disapproval.

But Blue Jays manager John Schneider had no regrets after the game.

“Honestly, I didn’t feel like watching him hit. That was it,” Schneider said after the game.

“He’s in a different category, I think, than any other player in the league.

“He can just change the script of a game with one hit.”

It turned out to be a very good weekend for the Yankees after losing 8-3 to Toronto on Friday.

They bounced back to claim an 8-3 victory on Saturday.

And the Yankees followed that up with a 4-3 victory on Sunday, moving them to 67-46 on the season.

Now they face a triple header this week against the Los Angeles Angels.

The first of these games will be on Tuesday night, followed by two more meetings on Wednesday and Thursday.
