Aaron Judge hits New York Yankees’ 300th home run – and fans are surprised by how much faster he was than anyone else

AARON Judge became the fastest man to hit 300 home runs in MLB.

The 32-year-old New York Yankees star achieved the feat during last night’s 10-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox.

Judge hit his 300th home run in the 955th game of his career.

This beats Ralph Kiner’s previous record of 1,087 games to reach 300, set in 1953.

With his team leading 6-2, Judge stepped to the line after the White Sox intentionally walked Juan Soto.

Judge then deflected the ball for a three-run shot, achieving history in the process.

After reaching the notable milestone, Judge was humble in his response.

“It’s a great achievement,” he began.

“I’ve been in the game for a while I think – we still have a long way to go – but like I said a few days ago, I was hoping it would be a win.

“It was a big victory for us. We were a little discouraged and couldn’t make much progress.

“So I was really excited to be in a big moment.”

In addition to being his 300th career home run, the 361-footer was also his 43rd of the season.

Soto, 25, was emotional for his teammate after the game.

“It’s really impressive what he’s done and how quickly he’s done it,” the four-time All-Star said.

“When you look at it, it’s just incredible. So fast and so unbelievable.”

The White Sox’s decision to walk Soto was met with surprise — with the 2019 champion not having received such treatment all season.

‘IT MAKES SENSE’

But the judge was not taken by surprise.

“You all saw how he was swinging the bat this week,” he said of his teammate.

“It makes sense. The guy hit three home runs [during Tuesday’s game]honored to start the game today. Why wouldn’t you do that?”

Fans were delighted with Judge’s achievement.

“Congratulations to Aaron Judge! Breaking records like this shows your incredible talent and dedication,” wrote one on X.

“Aaron Judge is amazing,” added a second.
