Tacked shyly by William Contreras, the Brewers catcher appeared to look at his opponent before they both walked away.

Almost immediately, Contreras began yelling at Pham, causing him to respond.

And as Contreras continued to head toward the dugout, Pham had to be restrained by referees, coaches and teammates as he continued to stare at the catcher.

As boos rang out around American Family Field, and an angry Pham finally walked away, he continued to compose himself as he continued to rant furiously.

The White Sox ended up losing 6-3 when Milwaukee completed the sweep.

After the game, Pham spoke to reporters in the locker room.

Admitting that the play “didn’t even come close”, he said“You would expect the left fielder to throw out the base runner on that play.”

“But the game situation, the third base coach tells you, you have to go.”

Pham then claimed that after being “home preached for a mile,” he was heading to the dugout when he heard “a tough guy with all this shit.”

“So, I will never start anything, but I will be prepared to finish it.

“There’s a reason I fight all kinds of fights in the off-season, because I’m prepared to fuck with someone.

“Then you can accept this as it really is.”

Pham then walked away from reporters.

This interview quickly made its way to X, formerly known as Twitter, where fans wasted no time in sharing their thoughts.

“Is he serious? Lmao,” one commented.

“I love this guy. He keeps it real,” said a second.

“Great role model…” added another.

Five Major MLB Rule Changes in 2024

1. The pitch clock is reduced from 20 to 18 seconds with runners on base. It will remain at 15 seconds with the bases empty.

2. When a pitching change is made, the inning clock will reset to 2:00 instead of 2:15 as happened last year.

3. Teams will only be able to visit four mounds per game in 2024, compared to five last season.

4. Fielders and fielders who block bases will be cited for obstruction by the umpires.

5. The runners’ lane from home plate to first base has been widened to include the dirt between the grass and the white line.

While a fourth suggested, “If Pham spent more time baseball and less time wrestling, he might not be on his fifth team in 3 years.”

As for Contreras, he told reportersthrough an interpreter, that he “wasn’t paying attention to what [Pham] had to say.

“I didn’t know what he was saying or what he was saying in my direction.

“I was really excited about the play and went back to the dugout.”

Chicago is winless in 11 consecutive games, with just two wins in the last 16.

Next up for the 16-45 White Sox are the 29-31 Chicago Cubs, with the series set to begin on Tuesday.
