PAUL Skenes is living life at the moment.
The 22-year-old Pittsburgh Pirates rookie sensation has made a seamless transition to the MLB.
In his last start, he allowed five hits and struck out eight in 6 1/3 scoreless innings.
This led to a standing ovation at Busch Stadium, as even St. Louis Cardinals fans could be seen tipping their hats as a sign of respect.
Pittsburgh won 2-1 and fans took to social media to hail Skenes, who is dating former LSU gymnast and influencer Olivia Dunne, 21.
“I pulled Livvy out and turned off the lights,” one of them commented on a clip of the ovation.
“Livvy how lucky,” added another.
“Just a classy baseball town,” posted a third.
Skenes threw 103 pitches — the most he caught in the majors.
He faced Shohei Ohtani last week and showed no signs of nervousness.
“His stuff, that first at-bat…it was really good,” Ohtani said.
“I wasn’t able to make any good shots, but overall it was really good stuff.”
Dunne, Sports Illustrated cover star has been a regular guest at the games and admits that it is not always easy to watch.
“I get more nervous watching Paul because it’s different when you’re not doing it and you’re not in control,” she said yesterday, according to Bleacher Report.
“But I’m confident in his abilities and I channel that nervousness into excitement for him.”
Dunne shared a hilarious TikTok video with his new colleague Travis Kelce.
Superstar athletes have come together to promote Accelerator Energy.
DUNNE AND SKENES’ SUMMER OF LOVE

Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes managed to keep their relationship a secret before finally going public last summer.
The two met at LSU, but it’s unclear when they started dating.
Rumors of a romance began when Dunne watched LSU win the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, last summer.
And Dunne posted selfies from Fort Myers, Fla., where Skenes was playing.
He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates and began his professional career playing in the minor leagues in the Sunshine State.
The final clue came when Dunne posed in a Pirates cap before the pair finally went public.
AND Kelce34, made a cameo on Dunne’s social media with a cheeky nod to her relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end mimes “I feel like you’re just here for the zip line” – in reference to a viral scene from the comedy show I Think You Should Leave.
But Dunne captioned the clip: “I feel like you’re just here to buy concert tickets.”
The camera cuts to Dunne drinking Accelerator Energy and responding, “What?”
