The Baltimore Orioles have unveiled a new gigantic hot dog for the 2024 MLB season.

Available at Oriole Park, the dish was called ‘The Warehouse Dog’ and made many baseball fans eager to head to Maryland.

On a pretzel bun sits a 12-inch hot dog, topped with horseradish-infused brick sauce, pit beef queso fondus, pickled pico de gallo and crispy onions, as per the order. MLB.

The dish sells for $23 and was described by executive chef Dan Doyle as his “showtopper” in an interview with CBS affiliate in Baltimore.

“Hi. It’s me. Orioles fan with a never-ending belly who trained himself through years of playing bad baseball and eating my sadness for this moment. I’m ready,” one fan tweeted in response to the new dish.

“I’m going to make a pilgrimage to Baltimore,” said a second.

“It looks like it could feed a small village,” replied a third.

While another described it as “mouth-watering”.

However, for any fans looking to try out this new dog at Oriole Park, he may not look exactly as he does in the promotional photos.

“There is a striking lack of fixations that I saw in the original image,” said Paul Mancano of Baltimore Flag Sports when testing it.

“But I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing, because this thing is an absolute eyesore.”

He also described it as “rather disgusting”, before admitting that although it was heavy, it was “not bad”.

“Beef, mixed with beef, makes really meaty meat,” Mancano added.

Fortunately, baseball fans looking for something other than hot dogs have plenty of other options.

For example, for any cheese lover, there are giant mozzarella sticks accompanied by vodka sauce.

There’s also a savory habanero chicken sandwich available, which Doyle said has a “fiery, incredible, intense flavor.”

Another of their vendors also offers roasted chicken on site.

It’s available alongside mac and cheese and coleslaw or as a shredded chicken flatbread.

Unfortunately for Orioles fans, the last two home games ended in crushing defeats.

On Friday, they were defeated 11-1 by the Milwaukee Brewers.

Then, on Saturday, the Brewers came back to beat Baltimore 11-5.

The Orioles currently sit in second place in the AL East behind the 11-3 New York Yankees.
