Country music star Morgan Wallen, a Tennessee native and former high school baseball player, sat next to Manning during Game 3 on Monday.

They were joined in the suite by Vols football coach Josh Heupel and basketball coach Rick Barnes.

In the bottom of the first, second baseman Christian Moore got off to a flying start with a home run on just the Vols’ fourth pitch.

Both wearing Vols colors, Manning and Wallen were seen high-fiving and hugging each other as Moore rounded third.

The clip quickly spread on X, formerly known as Twitter, where many fans felt their victory was written in the stars.

“It was inevitable that the Tennessee Volunteers would win everything after this,” wrote one.

“Peyton Manning just stunned Morgan Wallen after his home run at Tennessee. Vols for a million”, said a second.

“Peyton is home. How can they lose?” asked another.

While another simply said: “I love this so much!”

The unlikely duo cheered on their beloved Vols as they defeated the Texas A&M Aggies 6-5.

“Amazing night. Special night,” Manning told the NCAA Michelle Chester.

“Proud of (coach) Tony [Vitello]. Proud of this program.

“We’ve been knocking on the door the last few years and just… we’ve had our hearts broken, Tony, all these players, and the whole Volunteer Nation has bled with them.

“But we got over the hump tonight and did it, and that makes all these headaches worth it.”

Manning also had some fighting words after the historic win.
