A SHOCKING fight broke out at an MLB game that included women fighting men, drunken obscenities, ripped t-shirts – and a bowl of nachos in the face.
The fight took place during the Cleveland Guardians’ game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Progressive Field last Friday.
Footage of the outrageous scenes was taken by fans in the stands before security got involved to put an end to it all.
Brandi Pierce, one of the women involved in the fight, explained how the fight started.
“The only reason the fight started was because the couple behind us were drunk and belligerent,” Pierce told OutKick.
Pierce said his family left the stands to get food after a group behind them wouldn’t stop screaming.
“Like us [returned to our seats] a police officer came down and told them to calm down or they would be removed,” Pierce added.
“Soon after that, the blonde [woman] I started accusing my stepdaughter of being the one who told the police officer about them.
Pierce then intervened to defend his stepdaughter.
“The situation quickly escalated when she jumped on my stepdaughter (who wouldn’t hurt a fly) and threatened her while pulling at the back of my shirt,” Pierce continued.
“So I hit a bowl of chicken nachos in her face and fists flew out of there.”
In one video, Pierce, in a red shirt, can be seen attacking a blonde woman and a man.
An older fan was attacked by a fan and fell to the ground.
Shortly afterwards, the blonde and her husband were escorted out of the stadium by security.
“We all know what happened [and] that blonde deserved it all,” said Pierce.
Pierce added that neither she nor her husband were drunk at the time – nor were they looking for a fight.
“My husband, nor I, drank, but the couple behind us [showed up to the game] drunk,” she said.
“I tried to apologize to all the fans around; most accepted it and were pleased to be removed.”
Pierce told OutKick she was disappointed with the media coverage of the fight.
“We didn’t want to fight. But my stepdaughter didn’t deserve a 40-year-old woman getting in her face after asking her to calm down so the rest of the crowd could watch the game,” she said.
“When I left, I got a standing ovation for removing the blonde and her boyfriend.”
She added: “I saw some of the things posted out there [about the fight] and it’s all bullshit.”
The Guardians won the game 7-1.
