The Twins beat the Chicago White Sox 8-6 on Monday night, but many were focused on the viral clip from the game.

Twins shortstop Carlos Correa hit a home run in the seventh inning and cameras followed him as his celebrations entered the dugout.

Announcer Marney Geller began describing a change in tone when Ryan entered the screen.

As Correa took off his batting gear, Ryan was seen in the background picking up a bottle of baby powder.

Before the camera could switch to the field, Ryan turned the bottle over and poured the powder down his pants.

Fans laughed a lot at Ryan’s performance on the bench and shared it on social media.

“Golden title for a little tingling touch,” said one fan.

“Lil poof calm down,” said another fan.

“Hahaha I love Joe Ryan,” said a third fan.

“A little powder goes a long way,” said a fourth fan.

“I have to powder the baby munchkins,” said a fifth fan.

Maybe baby powder is Ryan’s secret weapon as he’s having a great season in 2024.

Ryan has started 18 games and is pitching to a 3.29 ERA.

He has 118 strikeouts in 109.1 innings and a 6-5 record in his starts.

Ryan is in his fourth MLB season at age 28 and is becoming a top starter for the Twins.

His career ERA is 3.87 and he has a career record of 32-24.

He is one of the main reasons the Twins have achieved an impressive 52-39 record on the season and occupied the second Wild Card spot.

They are just five games out of first place in the American League.
