ROBOTS will be present during Major League Baseball All-Star Week in Texas, but will not be on the field.
MLB revealed in a video posted on X that robot bartenders will be serving drinks to fans during the league’s all-star festivities this week.
The video shows a robot bartender preparing and serving a drink to a fan.
“A robot bartender will serve drinks during All-Star Week in Texas [eyes emoji, robot emoji]”, the post said.
MLB fans rushed to comment on the video, with many joking about the unique change.
“I’m not tipping the robot,” one fan wrote.
“Will he refuse to serve me after 6 beers?” he questioned for a second.
“Robots taking over human jobs? In this economy?” joked a third.
“Wait until it breaks and you have unhappy customers,” commented a fourth.
“We can get robot referees instead of making people lose their jobs,” argued a fifth.
