Country singer Ingrid Andress was given the responsibility of singing the national anthem before the annual MLB competition.

The four-time Grammy-nominated artist’s piercing vocals were met with a harsh response from viewers at home.

Andress struggled to hit high notes throughout the song during her performance at Globe Life Field.

And fans couldn’t help but notice Bohm’s reaction on ESPN’s live coverage, with the slugger seemingly suppressing a smirk.

“Bohm is all of us now,” wrote one fan on X in response to the footage.

“I think he did a good job of controlling himself because I know he couldn’t. I love this guy!!” said another.

“I noticed that and started laughing with him!” added a third.

Some fans put Andress’ performance aside Fergie’s infamous version of The Star Spangled Banner at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

“That was worse than Fergie,” declared one fan.

“Easily enters the Top 5 worst performances of all time. Shame on you @MLB for not caring enough to check out his actual singing ability,” said another.

“@MLB owes the American people an apology for this,” a third added.

Teoscar Hernandez emerged victorious when the action finally began in front of a packed crowd in Arlington.

Bohm led the first round with 21 homers, facing Hernandez in the second round.

The Los Angeles Dodgers star blasted his way into the final with 16 home runs to knock Bohm (15) out of contention.

Hernandez then overcame the challenge of Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr., who managed just 13 in the final.

He is the first Dodgers player to win the event, which began in 1985.

“It doesn’t matter who I’m going against,” Hernandez said, via ESPN.

“I’m going to bet on myself. People might underestimate me.

“You could see it at the end when Witt was hitting all those home runs.

“Everyone was shooting at him. But I’m [as] talented like all those guys over there.

“They may be younger, but they have the same talent.”
