It looked like an MLB fan lost a bet and had to wear a comical outfit to a Chicago Cubs game.

The person was shown on TV in the stands at Wrigley Field for Saturday’s game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Cubs.

Fox aired the MLB game as the network returned from commercial break for the start of the third inning.

That’s when the cameras showed a fan dressed as a clown in the stands.

The man’s shirt said, “I suck fantasy football“since he was also drinking a beer.

It seemed like the fan had the worst record in his fantasy soccer league last year and was punished for failure.

MLB fans agreed with this statement as one wrote, “He definitely lost a bet.”

Play-by-play announcer Already are Benetti gave his opinion on the fan’s attire.

Color commentator AJ Pierzynski also commented on the situation.

“You can’t hide when you’re dressed like that,” he said. “And if you’re that bad, you deserve it.”

But Pierzynski believed the fan was liberated in one aspect of the bet.

“I did say, though, that they’re letting him drink beer,” Pierzynski said.

“They should have sobered him up.”

Chicago was down 3-0 in the game, so the fan, probably a Cubs fan, also experienced failure in the contest.

Fantasy Football punishments have been a trend in social media it was.

An MLB pitcher recently was hit with a fantasy football penalty.

Toronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Tim Mayza served as the team’s batboy during a Spring Practice game against the Philadelphia Phillies in February as a penalty for coming in last place in fantasy football.

Mayza had to wear a special jersey with his fantasy team’s record, which was 4-10.

NFL training camp begins this week.

This means the next NFL season is right around the corner for fans, and even MLB players, to participate in fantasy football betting.
