MLB stars Shohei Ohtani and Teoscar Hernandez could only watch as a wild brawl broke out in the stands at Dodger Stadium.
The incident occurred during the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 9-6 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Sunday.
Hernandez was captured shadow boxing on the bench as the fight spread to the left side of the stadium.
Images of the melee were shared widely on social media, with one clip viewed more than 3.6 million times.
“Don’t put your hands on my boyfriend!” a woman can be heard screaming in the chaotic video.
Security was present as punches were thrown during the incident, which seemed to captivate players and fans alike.
A man and a woman were ejected from Dodger Stadium after the fight, for The Daily Mail.
Drinks were thrown during the fight, with some fans falling out of their seats as they tried to throw punches.
Video taken from the crowd showed superstar Ohtani watching the events unfold from the dugout.
Home Run Derby champion Hernandez then began shadowing as security calmed the situation.
“Ban these so called fans forever,” wrote one fan on X in response to the filming.
“Might be the most efficient security guard I’ve ever seen,” added another.
“I just don’t see how people can resolve this in public,” commented a third.
On the field, six Dodgers stars took to the backyard as home runs rained down on Los Angeles.
Ohtani hit his 30th home run of the season over the right field wall to make the score 6-2.
The milestone came in the Japanese star’s 100th game for the Dodgers.
Ohtani’s remarkable hit traveled 473 feet and freed up seats to exit the stadium.
