TEAM USA star Steph Curry had a message for the crowd in Paris as he crushed France’s gold medal hopes in the men’s Olympic basketball final.
The Golden State Warriors star’s final run of 3s proved crucial to the 98-87 victory, staving off the host nation’s unexpected fourth-quarter resurgence.
France chased the U.S. for most of Saturday’s game, with the Americans holding the lead for nearly four minutes of play.
But the hosts remained within reach as they patiently pursued LeBron James and Co.
The French stepped on the gas midway through the fourth quarter, turning a double-digit deficit into a one-possession game.
With just over three minutes remaining, Victor Wembanyama collected an offensive rebound from his missed jumper for a dunk that cut Team USA’s lead to 82-79.

That’s when Curry, 36, took over.
The 6-foot-1 guard put the game to bed by knocking down all of his next four 3-point attempts.
After the second triple fell, taking away a stepback jumper that came after a bomb fake, he reached for his mouthguard to deliver a message.
“Don’t worry about me!” the shooter shouted to the crowd, among which his Warriors teammate Draymond Green cheered for Team USA.
And American fans loved the moment.
“This should be on the dollar bill,” one wrote.
“When Curry yelled don’t worry about me, I knew he was about to disappear,” added another.
“That’s a cold quote,” said a third.
“Back to back curry. He said don’t worry about me,” wrote one.
Curry finished with 24 points, one rebound, five assists and two steals.

After the game, Warriors and Team USA coach Steve Kerr emphasized the two-time NBA MVP’s ability to shine when the spotlight is brightest.
“I think we might be the only team in the world whose fans will be ashamed of them if they get a silver medal,” Kerr told NBC.
“That’s the pressure we face.
“But our players, and you saw Steph, they love the pressure. They enjoy this atmosphere.
“They were fantastic.”
