ESPN host Malika Andrews wows fans with her live TV appearances.
Andrews is beginning her coverage of the NBA playoffs and fans are excited to have her on their TV screens more often.
Andrews burst onto the scene at ESPN in October 2018 as a reporter covering the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks.
Her career really began in 2020 during the NBA’s Covid season, during which she was one of the first reporters in the bubble.
She was also one of the main faces on TV during the 2020 NBA Draft, conducting virtual interviews with top prospects.
Andrews’ career only took off from there, as she was nominated for a Sports Emmy for the first time in 2021.
After that, she began making appearances on SportsCenter, Get Up, and NBA Countdown.
In 2021, Andrews was also hired by ABC to be the sideline reporter for the NBA Finals.
The following year, in 2022, she would win the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Personality/Emerging On-Air Talent and make history as the first woman to host the NBA Draft.
Andrews is now hosting NBA Countdown at the start of the playoffs and shared his excitement for the season’s climax.
“Prepped and ready for the first weekend of the playoffs… Which series are you most excited for?” she wrote on Instagram.
“See you on the NBA countdown!”
NBA fans were thrilled to see her and shared their excitement as they watched her analysis on TV.
