WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark has had a lot to celebrate on and off the court in recent weeks.
Clark starred on Saturday Night Live, was selected as the No. 1 overall pick by the Indiana Fever — and she’s about to sign a massive $28 million contract with Nike.
The women’s basketball phenom also celebrated her one-year anniversary with boyfriend Connor McCaffery.
Clark posted a black and white photo of the couple with the caption: “A better year [memories] my favorite person…
“You make every day better and I can’t wait for many more adventures together… I love you.”
McCaffrey published his own post about the duo’s celebration.

“A year where the best life was easy and you never cease to amaze me,” he wrote in his Instagram.
“I can’t wait to see you live your dreams in person, I love you.”
Like his superstar girlfriend, the 6-foot-2 McCaffrey is a former basketball star at the University of Iowa.
He is also the son of Iowa men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery.
In addition to playing basketball, McCaffery also played for the Hawkeyes baseball team.
After graduating from college last year, McCaffery took a job with the Indiana Pacers, where he now works as a staff assistant.
“I will play defense, run the scout team, help coaches on film, help with video projects if they need it, and scout reports if they need it,” he told Des Moines Registry.
“It’s kind of a hands-on workforce, whatever you’re asked to do, be ready to do it.”
McCaffrey has indicated he wants to follow in his father’s footsteps.
“It’s a way to get in. It’s initial work. You have to work hard and progress. Obviously that’s what I want to do.”
Clark and McCaffrey started dating last year.
It was Clark who made their relationship public last August when he posted a photo with McCaffery on a boat to his Instagram feed.
“Best end of summer”, was the message she wrote in the caption.
Since then, several messages have been posted on social media by the duo.
McCaffery posted a birthday message to Clark on Instagram when she turned 22 in January.
“Happy birthday, 22. I wish I could be there to celebrate with you – you deserve the best day. Golden Bday/T Swift’s year will be the best yet,” he wrote.
“With everything you have already accomplished, there is so much more in store for you and your special self. I admire you in every way and I love you.”
Clark responded to the message, joking: “Acting like a quick fan is crazy but I’ll let it slide hehe.”
McCaffrey was at Clark’s side when she was drafted No. 1 by the Fever, a move that means they could be close due to their role with the Pacers.
