Pierce said the Lakers simply don’t have enough talent to compete with the Nuggets.

“That’s all you can do with the talent you have, and they’re just not as talented as the Denver Nuggets,” Pierce said.

The Lakers fell to 0-3 in their opening playoff series after suffering a 112-105 loss on Thursday.

In that defeat, starters Rui Hachimura and D’Angelo Russell scored five and zero points respectively.

It was a poor effort and something Pierce expected from the start.

“That’s exactly what I said before the playoffs started,” Pierce said.

“This is a bad matchup for the Lakers.”

After a long speech about the players’ poor performance, Pierce gave his final verdict on the Lakers’ playoff hopes.

“It’s time to bring out the brooms,” he said.

At the same time, he picked up a real broom and began to sweep the table.

Fans loved Pierce and shared their thoughts about the Lakers on social media.

“Is there anything Pierce enjoys more than destroying @KingJames and @Lakers? haha,” said a fan.

“The truth telling the truth,” said another fan.

“Paul saving unquestionably,” said a third fan.

“Paul you are the best thing to happen to this show since Shannon left, I hope you are not too late to save it,” said a fourth fan.
