MILWAUKEE Bucks star Khris Middleton appeared to be injured in Game 4 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs with the Indiana Pacers.
The 6-foot-9 forward’s injury comes after the Bucks already lost Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.
Middleton, 32, fell to the ground while clutching his left leg following a reverse layup attempt in the third quarter of Sunday’s matchup and as the Pacers held a 67-66 lead.
He got up but was visibly limping, prompting Bucks coach Doc Rivers to call a timeout.
The attacker then went to the locker room for further examinations.
Middleton returned to the game, but his injured leg apparently continued to bother him at times.
Early in the matchup, Milwaukee was missing big man Bobby Portis, who was ejected for an altercation with Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard.
And NBA fans couldn’t believe the Bucks’ misfortunes.
“Damn, they’re cursed. Giannis, Dame and now Middleton?” one posted on X.
“Bucks are cursed smh hate injuries man,” added another.
“This season is cursed for the Bucks,” said a third.
“Bro, are the Bucks cursed? It’s just for us to go,” one wrote.
The Bucks ended up losing 126-115 in Game 4, falling 3-1 in the series.
Middleton finished the night with 25 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
Myles Turner exploded for 29 points, shooting 7-of-9 (77.8%), while also adding nine rebounds, four assists and three blocks against Milwaukee on Sunday night.
Antetokounmpo, 29, has yet to face the Pacers in the first round after straining his left calf late in the regular season.
Meanwhile, Lillard, 33, aggravated the Achilles injury — which had been bothering him for a few weeks — during the 121-118 Game 3 loss.
Consequently, the star was ruled out for Sunday’s clash.
The Bucks did not officially shut down Lillard for the rest of the series.
Rivers also gave a positive update on Antetokounmpo’s recovery ahead of Game 4.
“He moved. He shot. He’s running with no resistance,” the Bucks coach said.
“These are all very good signs.
Rivers added: “I think there’s a chance for him to play in this series, I really do.”
Milwaukee had a rollercoaster season that saw the team fire head coach Adrian Griffin and replace him with Rivers.
The Bucks finished with a 49-33 record to clinch third place in the NBA playoffs.
