LEBRON James has refused to open up about his future after playoff heartbreak to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The 39-year-old scored 30 points in the Lakers’ 108-106 loss to the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series on Monday night.

The loss ends the Lakers’ season with the Nuggets sealing a 4-1 series victory and a berth in the Conference Semifinals.
LeBron is currently the oldest active player in the NBA.
The four-time champion reportedly considered retiring last summer due to a persistent injury to his right foot, for ESPN.
He bounced back this season to overcome the pain and play 71 games, the most in six seasons as a Laker.

After Monday’s heartbreaking loss in Denver, James refused to answer the question about whether he had played his last game in the purple and gold.
“Uhhh, I’m not going to answer that. I appreciate it,” LeBron said in a concise response.
“To be honest, I don’t have an answer. I didn’t think much about it,” he added, via ESPN.
LeBron added that he would sit down with his agent Rich Paul and formulate “what’s best for my career.”
James has a $51.4 million player option for next season and the Lakers want him back in the organization, per Atlético.
He opened up about retirement rumors earlier this season and stated it was “coming.”
“I have a family,” said James ESPN“I have a nine-year-old daughter.”
“I have a son who is in college and is deciding whether to go to college or go pro.
“I have a son who is about to finish high school.
“I wasted a lot of time with my family and they allowed me to do that and never pressured me.
“This shit is important too. [is left]? I’ve done everything I can do.
“There’s nothing I haven’t accomplished in this league that I wanted to accomplish. So, at some point, you will have to [retire].”
Once the dust settles on the Lakers’ disappointing postseason run, LeBron will join Team USA for the Paris Olympics.
He will now have time to prepare ahead of training camp for the tournament, which begins in early July.
James is a three-time Olympian and two-time gold medalist.
“I’m going to rest my body for USA Basketball. That’s the initial thought,” he told reporters Monday night.
LeBron also expressed a desire to play with his son Bronny in the NBA before retiring.
“My senior year will be spent with my son,” James told The Athletic in 2022.
The 19-year-old announced earlier this month that he will enter the 2024 NBA Draft while maintaining his college eligibility.
